I just got an ilvl 10 version of this. Is that normal? I thought the level was fixed only the stats could vary slightly?

With the most recent patches they added lower level variants of some of the original unique hard to find items. The real LbotG is still a level 21 weapon.

Thats what I thought too about the lvl, thank you for the info. Though I don't see the reason for adding lower leveld versions of them...was so happy when it finally dropped and then meh...

If it still shoots 3 shots per attack it at least offers some bow variety until you get the real deal. I got the level 9 blade of red birth, and it was pointless. Like every other level 9 dagger.

I think the idea is to give more progression to loot. So that there is not such a wasteland in the mid range loot buckets. Its mainly to smooth out the gear ride for new players.
