I did something worse, or better. After Solas dump my F!Lavellan, I turn on Friendly Fire and throw a Jar of Bee on him in front of Corypheus.
Hah! That's mean, but I applaud the thought you put into that. ![]()

That will teach him! Did you at least yell out, ' I'm not a brute and or thug!' As you punched him, just for the comic value?

Winner for the post that made me lose my Dr Pepper!![]()
Back to punching Solas, I have an Assquisitor playthrough lined up so I can punch him.

LOL I wish I'd thought of that! Ah damnit, I'm about to go to bed and I'm having a giggle fit ![]()

You win the thread.
I did. Also shouted "FOR LAVELLAN!" while at it.
Too right!
I was spoiled as to Solas' identity early on, so while I took him to task when he started acting an ass, I also did my best to be open-minded about his prejudices against the Dalish, see his POV, look at it as his own guilt turned outwards, etc. But the culmination of the romance snapped my tolerance. I'm a member of multiple minority groups, and have been given the "compliment" of being told "Oh, I don't mean you. You're one of the good Mexicans/queers/etc.", and so the whole "You're the only good thing to ever come of the Dalish" line made my jaw drop. There absolutely should have been an option to punch him in his smug, condescending face just for that line, let alone for his "gift" of moments before. I'm still bristling over the fact that Bioware put that line in a romance and allowed no reaction to it at all.
So far as I'm concerned, every punch he catches in my playthroughs or those of other Inquisitors is just delayed karma.
I didn't punch him but I was very annoyed that you can kick his stupid ass out of Skyhold.
I can see why now, but it's still annoying.
wait..you can punch Solas and Dorian? I had no idea...hmm...for science?
Solas, more like Brolas am I right? Oh wait everyone already said that...
I tend to hate any sort of punching/slapping/shocking options when it comes to NPCs in games, because the persons on the receiving end are typically less powerful than the PC and...I just hate punching down, I suppose. HOWEVER, and despite my love for Solas, I find punching him to be absolutely hilarious. Not only is his reaction to it perfect (that offended head whip and his doubling down on taunts), but when he reveals himself later, those Inquisitors should have a moment of slowly dawning "Oh, ****. I punched a god in the face!" followed by "Oh, ****. I hope he's not still mad about that..."
Whoa! He reveals himself in some playthroughs? My first inquisitor thought he got along with him pretty well, but they apparent;y weren't close, lol. There was never a punch option or a big reveal.
Didn't know you could punch Dorian, either. Why on earth would I do that. I can see it with Solas, pretty easy to get on his bad side, but Dorian?

It would be funny when we encounter him again those who punched him get punched in the face. XD

I love how Dorian raises the issues he disagrees with, but it hurts to see one of my favorite characters get struck down like that.
Well, Solas saves Quizzy's life in the beginning, he is the reason for your continued existence. So no matter how my Quizzies disagree with him they never stoop down to physical violence. I wonder why quite a few people forget that part.
Besides I love the skinny bald guy, so no punching.
He's also partly the reason you were nearly executed and forced into this entire situation. If you hadn't coincidentally been at the conclave at the right time, you'd be dead like all the rest because of his stupid mistake. So there's that.
I found it fun to punch him on a 2nd playthrough.
Of course, your MC never knows that, but I hope there's a punch scene in some future dlc when we "actually" learn.

Punch him again in his doucheface
He always acts so oddly, like a wolf in sheep's clothing with the amount of knowledge he has.
I would never punch him.

What you did? I sees it
Punching him felt good... dunno why , i like Solas
Would have been cool if how you treated solas or if he disagreed too much with how you do stuff , would turn him into a DLC boss.
Oh wow I couldn't do that even if I was playing a jerk Inquisitor. Solas is my male inquisitor's bro and my female inquisitor's friend/LI.
I have never done it personally, but I have seen the video of it. Even if I tanked his approval to that point I don't think I could punch him just because of how well he responds to it. He basically makes you feel like an primitive barbarian for resorting to physical violence against him. Very well done character.

ROFL Oh Dorian, I love you but that was hilarious! Not his beautiful face! ![]()
I told Cole to kick rocks. He started calling all humans the same and called me power hungry. I didn't see how those two things correlated at all so I punched him. This is my third playthrough, so it was a pleasant surprise.
he never had reason to call me power hungry, awry play-trough we get along fine, i have more arguments with vivien, well it ends at some point, the few dialogues we argued about, she is a queen B...
, she just like Sera said about her
I want to, but I think if I punch a god I'm going to end up paying for it later down the line.
How do you punch him? Is it like the reporter in ME? That would be awesome.
