A Guide to Punching Solas:
Step 1: When talking to him, say things that p*ss him off. Shouldn't be too hard... all you have to do is breathe, and he disapproves.
Step 2: Depending on who you side with (Mages or Templars) if you go with Mages, enslave them. You'll get a whopping "Greatly disapproves". However, if its the Templars you want, ally with them. Same result.
Step 3: Show sympathy to the Wardens when that mission comes up; do not exile them, have them work with you.
Step 4: Go talk to him after the completion of the previous steps. You will receive a cutscene where he will express his absolute disgust with you, will probably mention something about your race... then you will have the option to punch him.
