I'm at Freedom's Progress and I just died as Shepard. My squad is just sitting around. What do I do to get my game reloaded?

Are you playing Mass Effect at all?.. Because it's game over the instant you die.

I guess it was a bug. I tried pressing all the buttons and looked through the menu buttons, but all I saw were the red veins. Also my game didn't autosave, so I have to restart the whole thing.
