Most of the classes in multiplayer have abilities from more than one specialization. And i thought it would be a fun thing for multiplayer if you could create your own class you still have to choose with what you want to work. So you would start by choosing mage, warrior or rogue and then you can build an ability tree with the things you would like to have. There would probably be some limitations i don't know how exactly i just thought of that idea. But for example if you would like to mix KE abilities with Necromancer abilities or Assassine abilities with alchemist abilities. What do you guys think of that idea?

That would mean an Arcane Warrior with Death Siphon, case closed.

with the Arcane warrior you are already a mix of KE and Rift mage so i thought you might be able to make some fun classes

I think everyone would prob take death siphon =p regardless of class.

Can't have it as it would throw any balance there is out of the window. Though I have to admit that the idea of seeing people running around with Caltrops, Spirit Mark, Ring of Pain and Fallback Plan is intriguing.

i mean there would probably be some limitations on your creation and a system behind the creation process but i'll give that into the hands of the developers. and my thought wasn't that everyone takes the best stuff but more about that everyone can pick the abilities he/she really enjoys. And you would still have the trees so you'll have to unlock abilities with that class still. And it is like if you choose mage at the creator you can only choose between mage abilities and the same for the other classes.

I got the impression that you'd have access to Mage abilities and passives only on a mage. Still, the barrier on hit and Death Siphon passives are among the OP ones that everyone would take without second thoughts.
