Ok wow....

Have had my fair share of weird problems with this game the last few days, It would just close itself and then i could not start the game for hours. Now this.

I start the game and it shows the artwork of the dragon and knight...and then it closes itself with the error:

For this game you need to be online. If you're on this Xbox regularly , make it your home Xbox to enable offline play for games you own. The next time you're online, go to settings > my home xbox .

I however am not gonna mess with that, cause my bro who lives here too, i have his console set as my Home Xbox, so we can share.

Right now i get this error:

Check your connection. To start DAI we need to connect to Xbox Live. Make sure your Xbox is online.

The sad thing is...i AM online. The network test succeeds fine and i CAN see my friends. I can also even play other games online like GTA Online.

What....the...hell?

The xbox and Playstation servers were down.

If you're online with other games try turning your box off and back on?

I AM on Xbox Live now. i am even talking to a friend in the party now. The network test works fine, even GTA Online works.

 

Even....sigh...a friend tried playing DAI and it works fine for him. What the hell man.

There is something wrong with EA , cause Battlefield 4 is giving me **** too. It doesn't even get to the main menu.

A guy at work told me the Chi-coms hacked the servers for XBONE and PS4.

Same here... tried to Log in "Sorry please log in to XBL/PSN, then try again." I shouldn't of had to log out, thanks alot Lizard Dicks... I hope you all choke on your own spit.

ps4 and xbox hacked. xbox is on but only partly, psn is still off.

DAI servers have been wonky for me all day.

Servers are still recovering from the outage. That could be it.

Xbaws Live is the best online experience, that's why I have to pay a premium for it.

But it get's even weirder my friend...here goes:


- It works for my friend, no problems.
- It worked for me last night, no problems at all.
- I tried. BF4, but it doesn't even get to the main menu. (i get EA connection lost )
- I tried PVZ Garden Warfare and it worked fine.
- GTA Online works fine.
- Xbox One network test works fine, store works fine, i am chatting with a friend now.

It gets even weirder....

This all happened while the X1 was connected to a wired connection. So i decided to connect the X1 via WIFI. Dragon Age boots up, i even get to the main menu..i do get the error message that i need to be online, but i just close the error message and i can play the game.

 

I however just got the error again and the game closed. What the **** man.

Xbox connect to the internet through Xbox Live.   Its not the DA:I servers, but the Xbox live servers.   They are still fixing them after the hacker attack.
