Noble Deeds, Noble Heart (bug?)

Can't complete this quest for whatever reason. When I went to the Villa the search function sound thing doesn't pop up. And when I search the desks/crates where the proof of Fairbanks; nobility should be I get zilch. 

 

Now maybe this is because I've already done Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts or maybe the quest is just plain bugged. It does show up on my map/radar so I don't know what gives.

 

This happen to anybody else?

Did you ask Clare about "The rumors?" 

 

The quest markers shows up after you talked to her but you have to actually select the dialog option for the quest to really kick in. It was like that for me.
