Still a crazy monster that's responsible for murdering hundreds of people directly and thousands indirectly.

If you think this is a guy that should be admired I think you're getting the wrong message.

All I said was he is doing fine for a person who did those things, and I don't see what's wrong with this statement because its pretty much true.

Hawke was the reluctant hero. I mean she was trying to restore her family's rightful place in the city. She wasn't trying to be a hero. Then the Qunari landed. The City Guard was useless. The Templars did nothing except stage a coup after the Arishok killed the Viscount. Hawke killed the Arishok and became the Champion of Kirkwall.

My Hawke romanced Isabela, then Anders (fingers crossed). She killed Anders after he blew up the Chantry. He's dead. He killed hundreds including those who were trying to maintain peace. And his actions caused the deaths of thousands. Hawke could not let him live.

Sebastian will aid Kirkwall.

Sebastian.....SEBASTIAN!

terminator_gif-ani6.gif

I would rather give Kirkwall to a Anders completely consumed by Vengance than have it taken over by that Taliban of a man that calls himself Sebastian.

:P

Intetestingly, all the options seem disinclined to genuinely support Sebastian; Cullen wants to oust him, Josephine doesn't want to lend him any support, and even Leliana is about trying to mitigate any casualties from his actions (which is successful) and putting your people in positions of power as his new advisors.

None of the options really endorse Sebastian or his actions. Even when choosing Leliana, Sebastian never fully conquers Kirkwall; Aveline and her people still control part of the Kirkwall territory.

If any of the advisors actually supported that idiot I'd start flipping tables. Sebastian is a toxic zealot and his "aid" simple ideological poison. F*** that guy with a cactus.

Aside from Cullen, they lack conviction.

A shame. I'd love to have Aveline's head mounted on my wall. Though I doubt Sebastian would have the spine for it; I'm shocked he mustered up the gusto to actually march on Kirkwall.

Just wanted to shot this out and ask if anyone else wanted their Hawke scream out "Screw this" and hop on a nearest boat to get out of that damn city.

Honestly, if there was third option in the game's climax that allowed not me to not join either Orsinio or Meredith and instead get an automatic game over I would have taken it.

My inquisitor *wants* Sebastian keeping order in Kirkwall if only for stability in the area. From a more meta point of view, I think it's a good idea in that it might be the first step in creating a Free Marches country from the city states. When the inevitable Qunari invasion comes, city states aren't going to cut it.

When King Alistair asked if my Hawke mught return to Ferelden, he wanted desperately to be able to say, 'Yes, please. Can we go right now?' Lol

. They aren't likely to join a new nation willingly. They are historically independent and as seen in Kirkwall fairly xenophobic

It'd take a military conquest to unite them, and even then I don't see such a union lasting long.

Can someone tell me when this mission appears? There is another factor other than alive Anders and recruited Sebastian at the keep. I made this decision two times and imported to the game but this mission appeared only once.

Regardless, go back to praying Sebastian.

Kirkwall Operation Group

An Ally from Starkhaven
How to Unlock: If a world state where Sebastian was recruited was imported, if Redcliffe or Therinfal Redoubt is complete
Rewards and Preferred Specialist: Connections

Aiding Kirkwall
How to Unlock: If the Inquisition accepted Sebastian Vael’s friendship, Inquisitor deal with the Grey Wardens at Adamant, Inquisitor returned from the ball at Halamshiral, a world state where Anders was executed was imported
Rewards and Preferred Specialist: Secrets and Influence

Annexing Kirkwall
How to Unlock: If the Inquisition accepted Sebastian Vael’s friendship, Inquisitor deal with the Grey Wardens at Adamant, Inquisitor returned from the ball at Halamshiral, a world state where Anders lives was imported
Rewards and Preferred Specialist: Connections

Maybe it has been already mentioned lol. Anyway, this is the site with a rather in depth guide to War Table missions: http://segmentnext.c...-how-to-unlock/

I rather support Sebastian to burn that shithole of a city, and wipe Kirkwall off the map.

Aveline is useless. Always has been and always will be. She was a cool character but a rotten guard. Her own men were corrupt and easily bought by any noble (magistrate), a serial killer ran rampant for years, city elves had to go after a killer themselves to get justice, blood mages roamed loose some of which Aveline helped kill yet she never wanted to cooperate with the Templars until the place was burning to the ground.  She's incompetent and that death trap called a city should be burned to the ground. The veil is thin there anyway.

Sebastian wants to invade a whole city just to get at one man who's probably not even there anymore anyway. That's not much better than anything Anders did, really.

Supporting an terrorist abomination proves how crazy you are. Take it as a joke.

Decapitation strikes against the leadership of a military organisation (which the Chantry was at the time) are not terrorism.

That's a fine self righteous logic, Anders must be proud of you because I'll fight for mages freedom, but **** the Chantry, **** the Templars and **** the mundane right? Murdering innocent people who reside in the Chantry directly, and indirectly murdering thousands to serve your own agenda is not considered terrorism?

I wish when Varric said that "No, Kirkwall was not that bad," we could counter and say that yes, Kirkwall really was a terrible place.

There's a banter with Dorian where this happens. I'm pretty sure it went like this:

"I've been to Kirkwall."

"Yeah?"

"Kind of a shithole."

"Yeah."

He didn't say he was going to kill all the firstborn sons, lol. Given that Aveline supports him if the inquisition does, between the two of them, they should do a fine job of cleaning that place up. Maybe there won't be a blood mage everyblock when you go out at night, lol.

Nonsense. Sebastian is quite tolerant in may ways until you less a mass murderer go free.
