Calling it now, Inquisition is just DA's own history repeating.

Meaning in the way the Chantry was set up. It was made due to Andraste being a head of a massive movement (Like the inquisition) to face a threat (like the inquisition) that is swept up by the people on the terms of belief only (like the inquisition) that this person was chosen by a higher being. This movement was lead by a bunch of figure heads (like the inquisition) that established and changed the continent in a political way massively (like the inquisition, least in the southern lands atm, not counting future dlc) but also supported by the armies of people who just signed up believing they were in the right. Hell, there's even some legends of Andraste taming a wyvern that created statues all over ferelden. You sort of due that if you drink from the pool of whispery creepy voices, or get morrigan to do it then you still sort of tame a dragon, or more likely ally yourself with one. So, yeah, the inquisition will likely become a new religion if we do time skip or something to the next game considering you're already a holy figure. You're at least going to reshape the entire Chantry and likely be named in it.

Oh, not going to make another topic for this since it's a silly hunch or might be also history repeating, but does anyone read the constellation codex things? Namely the one for Silentir? It was historically attributed to Dumat, a dragon, but also theorized to have replaced Mythal aka Flemeth over time, the same flemeth who turns out to be an elven god and we know can turn into a dragon. Calling it now, Mythal/flemeth is also Dumat. The dragon slain in the first blight? Basically Cory's dragon you slay in this game, gone mad. That's why their dragons were buried. To protect them so they can be immortal. Why else would flemeth constantly body swap with living vessels, when Cory, who is so much weaker in comparison, can do it simpler to a dead one we even see in the game?

Now, this might be just silly nonsense 'oh, theory time' but they typically don't throw mentions like this to historical codex for no reason most of the time. I mean, back in DA:O's own witch hunt we have hints of the inquisition with finding a book that said to have a 'black eye with a sword through it' on it, detailing a past branch of the chantry that was horrendously violent.
