After thinking about it a little bit, he could also be a prolific heavy weapon wielder...like this:

What do you guys think?

Looks good, Millafan!
Krogans aren't really weapon classes
Played as weapon platforms, one will need weapons that are OP in and of themselves.

This build is actually a melee build. I roam Platinum at will meleeing everything. For those unaware, sprint + melee does the normal krogan heavy melee.
However, this build can do it all. There is the option with the Particle Rifle and AR Amp to melt enemies. Rarely needed; only for bosses if there's no ramp. I have plenty of AR amps to throw on a gun I might not use.
No krogan with a quad still attached would ever touch the Acolyte.

Quite handy for the Krolord in gold, electrical hammer make pretty fire explosions
a squadmate with arc grenades to detonate the DoT and it's just a hot time

I've never seen you in Platinum, so opinion invalid

This sounds good. Maybe, I need to invest more into Electric Hammer next time around.

Unfortunately last time I played him I made a boo-boo with a scion which basically caused Mission fail on wave 10
(the other Krolord (perhaps the real problem) ran out of rockets and had crap weapons, he got synced by the 3rd Target)
no crab cakes for us
i always thought that weapon damage was a bit more useful on the krolord than power damage. just my opinion.

I specced mine for weapon damage and defense (although I took Martial Artist on rage)
You should always take 6b for Warlord Rage (fitness). 6a does not do much as a single running heavy melee is enough to trigger rage even if you take 6b.

Is that true? Why would a HM be any different? Is says, "[X] number of enemies killed with melee attacks in [X] amount of time." Or something along those lines. Is this a bug?

It's a "hidden feature". I just tested it again. Yup, still working. I took 6b and can go into rage mode every time I kill a mook with a running heavy melee.

Update with more explanatory power, since I remember it being a point of contention
back when I posted this build originally in another thread:

>>> Regular ArP mod instead of Super ArP (HvB) to protect cooldowns; assault rifle version of Super ArP does not boost damage and in this setup Super ArP would only add iirc about 7% armor damage.
Don't be stupid enough to think that he should be hiding and shooting through walls

Forgot to mention this. I actually don't play him much as I prefer the Krogan Soldier. The sprint+melee will be the bread and butter of the Krogan Warlord
My preferred build--great for melee and can kill stuff at range.

Isn't the Crusader a non-dlc weapon? I suppose it's safe to attach the omni-blade without slowing your cooldown.
Yes, I think so and that setup keeps the cooldown on the bio-hammer charge at around 10 sec.
No Spitfire Krogans? Hardcoresalmon nearly did a Plat solo with a Spitfire Krolord. L2P everyone!
Nearly? I heard someone say that he did complete a platinum solo using that build ![]()

Yes, he did.
