Drell. Always see people playing them like scared little girls, makes me want to barf in my mouth. Also, vorcha- not so much because they are bad with them per se (although inexperienced PUGs tend to gravitate towards the Flamer kits and give them a bad name), but because they don't properly embrace the vorcha spirit (you know, throwing grenades at teammates, meleeing banshees, flaming the shuttle, just generally going crazy with need for ultra-violence).
What kits are played poorly by a lot of people? (Krolord, Jugg, Spitfire AIU?)

Drell.
I was honestly tempted to say this instead of Paladin but when I looked back I thought the few times I have seen a Drell they've generally been good. I just haven't seen many.

Def don't see many, but I don't know that I've ever ran into a good, random drell PUG (as opposed to running into a BSN'er playing a drell or something), at least not that I can recall or that I noticed. Hard not to notice when someone's playing drellguard like a pansy though, since that's just an abomination.

So tell me, what are your experiences with poorly played kits by Pugs/friends/yourself?
Pugs in this game tend not to be very good with most kits. I say that as a player that is not himself exceptional in any way. If there's one particular kit many seem to struggle with, aside from what you have mentioned, I don't see many decent Fury players.
Personally I play quite poorly with any kits that require me to be able to aim worth a damn. Saber Quarksman, Snipers, etc. Pugs also fail pretty badly at those types of kits so I'm not alone there.

Just FYI, there are two Juggernaut kits: the Juggernaut and Puggernaut. DO NOT mix them up as it is punishable by death in the empire.
you forgot, a one way ticket to the Cerberus labs as Test Experiments, We do stuff for SCIENCE, so we can improve humanity.

The Batarian Sentinel - although not seen a whole lot by many in Pugs - is an obvious choice for me, too. Some Pugs just spam Shockwave ad nauseam, and never use Sub net...which is a great freakin' power.
And, BAD Novaguards...I see quite a few of them just charging into a spawn, and -- not -- getting out of it. This type of player is usually on the ground more than in the fight. Occasionally, they will even speak up and say, "I'm out of gels. Good luck!" Shaking my head.

Fury and AIU.
The best AA puggers just seem to be able to take out mooks one at a time with Stasis headshots, but that's pretty much it. Never seen them deal quickly with multiple opponents at close range.
But...but...my headshots are golden! ![]()

The concussive shot-spamming assholes on Praetorians, they are definitely doing it wrong and make me sad and annoyed.
When there is no powerblocking bubble...why not?
@OP: Shadow and Fury (DC+Throw)...but these kits are also very lag dependent

Because spamming concussive shot every 2 seconds at EVERYTHING is almost as annyoing as spamming shockwave every 2 seconds at everything that moves (or doesn't move).

Can't recall ever seeing a BatSent pug...but novaguards? All over the place. I must say though, that I see good ones in pugs so I can't say that.
Someone mentioned the Shadow....those make me cry. She can be so good when spec'd for melee, instead of ES spam.

Rarely encounter Slayers and Shadows, but most of them spam the hell out of ES or BS. I particularly enjoy having them on my team, when I'm playing a Javelin FQI.

Krolord.
I'm still working on havin' the hang of the game after not having played over a year and a half, and when I hopped in a PUG gold lobby I got kicked out twice because people are just scared of the kit. To me it confirms that in general this kit is played exceedingly poorly.
I finally got into a match on london vs cerberus, and extracted without getting sync killed once. Didn't top the scoreboard though since I played pretty conservatively, and the map doesn't lend itself well to the char imo. I'm generally comfortable with any kit on gold, but I felt under pressure NOT to get sync killed once, just to not confirm the stereotype ![]()
Vorcha
This is probably my weakest kit, and only really good players tend to well with it in a pug, because of the bloodlust issue. I'll go regen build + power amps, but no grenades, and start out doing okay, then as the waves go on I have a harder time to keep my bloodlust maxed out, because of GI /TGI etc power kits stealing the majoirty of kills. So I'll try to get even more agressive than usual and get ahead of the team 'rambo' style, and it's alot of fun, but yeah. I'm not a perfect player and I end up gelling more than I ought to, and feeling a bit frustrated, saying 'meh' and pick a different kit next game.
A typical PUG Vorcha however, will spend the match on the floor / standing next to the snipers spamming flamer at targets that are out of range.

To be fair, I've done that.
Mainly because I was being gang-banged by a Hunter death squad at the time. I believe, translated from Geth, they were saying something like "ramp-up time? lololololol no".
Which is why I no longer TGI-PPR on Geth Platinum.

Understandable, but this guy was using it this way intentionally.I would have said something, but wasn't wearing a headset.

batarian sentinel is an awesome character and it's unfortunate he doesn't get played often. i think most pugs overlook his powers and don't realize that (depending on how he's spec'd) you can get some crazy tech bursts in with submission net/shockwave combos. especially on mobs of enemies. i always take the kishock with him because 1) lore and 2) lulz gun!

SO.... you are saying that a kit with 2 of the hardest powers to get to 'stick', no mobility, armed with the one weapon that is more skill intensive than a javelin, tends to be a kit PUGS suck at ?
Yeah I guess I can count the people i've met online that can play it the way you describe on one hand (I'm not one of em).

Well, Sub net is great for trapping mooks and Phantoms. And the Kishock becomes much easier to handle with Sub net taking care of the enemies' dodges. Shockwave should only be used to detonate combos, or for the occasional bail-out stagger. I mostly use it to detonate the effects set-up by my teammates. But you are right, the kit isn't too user-friendly...you need to have good awareness and decent skills to get the most out of him.

Or you can just spec him for shield regen and run around the battlefield, laughing like a lunatic and shooting things in the face with a shotgun.
That doesn't take a whole lot of skill, and it's fairly amusing. But most people don't even do that.

I played 5 matches yesterday (first session in about 10 weeks - can we say rust?) In the first one there was a Juggy with a cyclonic III who dropped about a dozen times. How is that possible?

Lack of skills/situational awareness, clearly. Everyone that thinks as a logical person, would assume that a Jugg attracts aggro like flies are attracted to ****. Therefore, you have to adapt to that. A good Jugg moves around quite a bit. But far too often, you'll see them camping a spot - a poorly chosen spot often with incoming fire from all angles - and die trying to hold it.

Many new or new-ish people rely too much on Juggs high shields and melee replenishing. They think they can take everything, even when standing out in the open, which is unforunately not true. Once they become targeted by half of map, it´s usually too late to retreat.

don't
(although to be fair I've been testing it with the Destroyer as a backup)
