I ask because like i said, i havent seen anyone mention it. Is it really not that good? Is it just rarely used? Any opinions, experience or help would be awesome.

You can kill a high dragon on nightmare difficulty in 5 seconds with one rogue placing a mark of death and then the other tempest rogue hitting thousand cuts. It literally trivializes any encounter.

That sounds way too easy. Does no one run this duo for that reason? Can it be ran without being virtually game breaking? I thought it sounded fun and like a good idea but I don't want easy mode haha.

Using tier 1 weapons helps or using it only sparingly and not on every encounter. If youre on NM then it should come with risks to the marker as the AI can never seem to keep cole alive for me.

I would say nobody runs both Tempest and Assassin because a) it's overkill for burst damage most times, and
AI can't do DW Rogue.
If you make Cole an Archer and micromanage him (i.e. disable hidden blades and mark of death from AI use) you could probably make it work with an Inquisitor Tempest DW Rogue.
Personally I just find an Artificer Archer to be the lowest maintainance while still working really well with any Inquisitor Rogue.

You can do the same thing with just a Tempest.
