Hi. Bioware, I think you're amazing. I was more than a bit disappointed with Dragon Age 2 but I'm still a big fan. There's something that's really bothering me about Dragon Age Inquisition though and I'm honestly really surprised this is still a thing.

I noticed in Dragon Age 2 that the text size was way smaller than it was in Origins. I assumed that you guys must be under the impression that everyone has giant TV's these days, as unbelievable as that would be. In Dragon Age: Origins I liked to read all of the little codex things I found because they could sometimes lead to quests and even when they didn't, it was usually interesting or I learned new things about the lore. In Dragon Age 2, not only could I not do that but...I couldn't read like literally anything in the game.

Anything. I feel like it's pretty important to be able to read this. I went to an eye doctor when I was younger because I got headaches and my mother thought I might need reading glasses, and I was confirmed to have 20/20 vision. I don't need glasses! I can't tell you the exact size of my TV but a quick, rough guess is that it's roughly two feet wide and two feet tall. Not extremely large obviously but not unusually small either, is it? I do not think it is. It's a bit bigger than my PC's monitor that I'm looking at right now. I like to think this size is average. I'm convinced that it is, and I refuse to get a better TV just for video games. If that's expected of me, I think I'll stick to MMOs.

I actually took Bethesda's "Dishonored" back to the store and returned it because the text was too small. I didn't return Dragon Age 2, and I just now got Inquisitions for Christmas but I'm choosing not to return it. I may not ever actually play it, however, because I can't even read the "Character Summary" on the character creation screen. Not even that. I can't read literally anything. I can stand up and put my face six inches away from the TV screen and even then I can't read it.

For me, the game is completely unplayable. Bethesda's "Dishonored" was returned for this reason; I literally could not play it. I wasn't enjoying the game at all; this really ruined it for me.

I'm trying to keep an open mind here so it occurs to me that maybe there's a reasonable explanation for this. Is there one? Can someone explain it to me? I'm guessing it may have to do with the fact that Bethesda and Bioware kind of, sort of cater primarily to PC's? Is that it?

I dunno but either way, this was the most frustrating thing about the game for me. Has no one else complained about this? Has this not been a huge issue or is it just me? I find that really hard to believe but I assumed people would complain about this for Dragon Age 2. It's for that reason that I never bothered signing up and doing so myself. However, it's clear that this wasn't the case because the same problem is in Inquisitions.

Disclaimer: I have Origins, and I have some older xbox 360 games such as Devil May Cry 4. I can read the text in all of them perfectly fine and have played these games within the last few months. Dragon Age 2 and Inquisitions though? I can't read the text in them, so I'm confirming for you that it's definitely only these newer games that for some reason have way smaller text for -- as far as I can tell -- absolutely no good reason.

My humble suggestion -- and request, even -- is that you please make it at least possible to adjust the text size from within the game. If this option is already in the game, guess what? it's so small that I wasn't able to find it!!!
