Seboist should be more like EP. Many tattoo'd ladies EP has met have been extremely polite and well spoken so you can't judge by a bit of skin art.

 

I mean at the end of the day, a girl just needs a good personality and pretty face for me. Only extremely skinny or fat would put me off.

Maybe if you didn't so shallowly refer to some women as "fat gurls" you might not be alone. Many (in my experience most women) who hear men start disparaging "fat gurls" find it a huge turn off. All of us, no matter how fit we are, have felt fat at one point. (Not enough time to list the reasons why to this). Start judging women by their deeds and what's between their ears and you might have more luck.

I didn't feel insulted by his post...... rather that he was trying to explain his taste in women in a clumsy fashion. O.o

People who believe that appearances play no role when choosing a partner are kidding themselves. I would not enjoy being with a severely overweight man, just as much as I would not enjoy being with a man whose hair is longer than mine. No harm in admitting that there are things that turn you off.

 

I understand that we all have physical types we like and I understand he meant no harm by his post. But sadly most women have body image issues. But his referral to over weight women as "fat gurls" was doubly negative. First he uses the word "fat" which in western society has very negative connotations (instead of saying overweight as you did) and he refereed to them as "gurls" instead of "women" which again (and my not be obvious) is also insulting because it deprives them of being seen/accepted as full grown "thinking" adults. We are judged by our words (esp online) and I just was offering him a different way of looking at things. It was not meant to anger or insult.

I also referred to women who dye their hair green as "gurls" but you should note that my two posts above aren't serious (like half of my posts in the off-topic forum). I don't call women "gurls" IRL lol. I was just being silly with that post.

Sorry, but the only time it makes ANY sense to refrain from calling an overweight person "fat" is if their excess weight is clearly not from fat; i.e. a huge goiter, bulbous head, a hulking, bodybuilder physique, etc

Like I said hun, I meant no disrespect I was just giving you my 2 pence. And as far as fat goes. I find its how you use the word. When I am on my period I say "I feel fat" all the time. If a stranger came up and called me fat I would be hurt. Its all in context I suppose.

Here is another way to approach the whole nomenclature thing. Everyone wants to be appreciated for who they are.

If you get in the habit of thinking about and referring to people by name and you try to enjoy them as people, that will show through in your relations with new people.

There is no one more attractive than a guy who lights up a room when he enters. When everyone is glad to see you and speak with you, that is totally sexy. It's called charisma and you can develop it.

The whole 'austere and aloof' thing is pretty much total nonsense.
