^Yes once upon a time I came to the lobby to escape the madness of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect forums, now I feel like they're the more sane place.

 

Maybe If I keep scrolling down though I can check out the place no ones talks about... the Sonic Dark Brotherhood forum.

 

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that forum.

 

We were hoping for a sequel.

Why is it when you bring up a problem, and I offer to directly fix it, you reply "oh no, its fine"?

Why is it when you are clearly down about something, and I ask you what's up, I'll know the answer is " oh, nothing, I'm fine"?

Why is it that we'll make plans a week in advance that you'll be running late, and you'll be stressed because you're late?

Why, women? WHYYYYY?

My friend was complaining about this when I was randomly scrolling through here. I figured I'd get some unique advice here. What I came away with was better sex, bribery and the possibility that she may not exist, and she may be part of some government conspiracy to drive him crazy.

 

Seems about right.

1. Because we are capable of fixing it ourselves. We want you to emotionally support us in that effort. By offering to fix it you are sideways saying we are incapable.

 

2. Again, we want you to understand our despondency.  The issue is irrelevant. We just want you to be there for us emotionally. We will tell you why we are hurting as soon as you acknowledge that we are hurting. Telling you about the problem will only bring all the rubbish back to the forefront. A hug in the here and now goes a lot further than rehashing a problem that has already occurred.
