What's "creepy" is how the same people who'd label someone a "bigoted hater" for saying something disparaging about interracial or gay relationships have no qualms with talking smack about older male/younger female relationships. This nonsense that younger female/older male relationships is "creepy" is some bizarre and recent anglo-american hang up, which doesn't exist in latin america, eastern europe, the far east or elsewhere.  In my own family tree, my dad's 9 years older than my mom and my maternal grandfather was in his mid-20s when he married my grandmother whom was in her late teens(and he was henpecked in that relationship to boot).

Then again what else should I expect? This is the same forum that gets weirded out when someone suggests an older female or male LI for a player character but has no qualms with bestiality with aliens or with giant horned goat men.

Im not sure what any of that has to do with the conversation at hand, and im not trying to be difficult here, but what could a guy in his mid 30's and older possibly have to offer a teen-aged girl other then his money? I mean ffs, teen-aged girls want guys THEIR OWN AGE to pay for everything! Last year I totaled my car because my gf was in the passenger seat screaming at me over the fact that she had to pay for breakfast that morning, I told her I never ask for gas money and that just mad her madder, didn't notice the honda stopped at a red light in front of me and ploughed right into it(no one was hurt thankfully). I remember the cops showing up asking me what happened and then laughing their asses off when I told them. I should have pulled over and made her get out. For the last few months of school everyone made whipping noises behind my back when I would walk the halls(which looking back, was actually pretty funny, though at the time it wasn't)

Anyway, I was just weirded out by the whole "I want a young girl but im not a sugar daddy" thing. Since take that away and whats left? I am also curious at just how much experience you actually have dating teenaged girls. Have you ever actually dated one that didn't expect you to pay for everything? Seems hard to believe.

Also, the fact that you keep referring to women as "Dames" un ironically is also sort of weird. Though I guess that is easily explained by your age. Since when I google that word this is the definition that comes up

dame
dām/Submit
noun
plural noun: Dames; plural noun: dames
1.
(in the UK) the title given to a woman equivalent to the rank of knight.

But, moving on, its just the way you have been wording your posts. Just comes off weird.

It has less to do with age disparity than how you presented yourself. One or two of your earlier comments came across as frankly, predatory. My parents have an age disparity between them, and I have met happy couples with even wider age gaps than theirs. I do not see that as a problem if both parties are consenting adults as J. Reezy pointed out. I do see the way you referred to young women in a few of your posts as squicky. Being compared to plucked fruit comes off as objectifying at best. You will probably write off my post as SJW twaddle, but I rather that than be misrepresented for liking a post that suggested one of your comments was creepy.

All those appendages are its junk.

18-mid 20s is their prime not just for looks but in terms of fertility. Unlike women that are say mid-30s and up, a man doesn't have to worry about increased risk of down syndrome, miscarriage, inability to even conceive or worry about having enough for IVF.

You dumped you ex because you worried about that?

I know a pregnant chick who stopped smoking dope because she was freaking out about her baby getting down syndrome...

Wait. She didn't stop. My bad.

Ahh the beauty about being a lesbian. I don't have to worry about that crap so... older women all the way.

The amount of unintentional ageism and sexism in this post is downright humorous. Believe or not, chicks in their late teens are not all immature air heads and can have stimulating convos and mutual interests with older gents(whom a good number of them actually prefer for reasons beyond money). I had a number of pleasant convos with a few of them in the past year (they were surprised to find out i was more than 10 years older than them based on my looks). Heck, at that age, I was relating better with older men and women than my peers at the time.

and FYI, "dame" is also old-fashioned American slang that's akin to calling women "chicks" (or "birds" in UK slang). It's something I picked off from watching old shows like twilight zone and believe or not I've interacted with women who dug the term.

Yup.

You dumped you ex because you worried about that?

Like I said, it wasn't amongst my primary or secondary reasons but it wasn't something in her favor.

I can never figure out what this thread is about... it's always just.. anyway.

I've never honestly considered dating someone outside my age range, and that means even like more than 1 or 2 years difference. There are so many advantages like you probably are on the same wavelength, like the same things, know about the same kinds of things, etc.

Plus there are so many people out there you can find pretty much any girl/guy you want at your own age. You can find someone that's 30 with the mental age of a 20 year old, or a 25 year old with the emotional age of a 40 year old, if that's what you want. You can find 25 year old people that hate video games or a 25 year old that likes all the same video games as you, etc.

I will not settle for anything less because I am a nerd and will need someone else to nerd out with over video games.

Yeah, but why did you have to worry about that? It's not as if you had the eggs or the one getting pregnant.

The age of the man also matters because it's also influential on all of the things he mentioned earlier as for why he prefers younger women.
