Just thought this would be fun.

 

Mine's got to be Solas. For obvious reasons but he just seems like he's spoiled, either you see things his way or he hates you.

You are operating under the assumption that everyone hates Sera.  You are incorrect.  I don't "hate" any of the companions, per se, but I actually prefer Sera (or even Solas) to someone like Vivienne.

I'm not big on Sera. I don't outright detest her as much as I did originally. I guess she's starting to grow on me a bit, but she's still up there with Viv in the "I'll never use them in the party" grouping.

 

It's mostly the hypocrisy that frustrates me, and I feel the same way about Viv.

 

Solas though, I like him quite a bit, even if Varric and he don't see eye to eye all the time.

I like Sera. I didn't always, but after more interactions, I think she's a riot. Her pranks are hilarious.

 

Vivienne's the one I can't stand (condescending biatch lol).

I dont think i hate any character but i find Sera Annoying and with a really fake personality i dont believe someone is THAT dumb, Blackwall is BORING probably the most boring character of DA series but i dotn hate it, even after i did his personal mission, on the other hand here i met my favorite character of all DA series, Solas, that guy is incredible and so interesting.

I don't hate any of them.  I do find myself working out how Blackwall's conversations and arc could have been more successful rather than just focusing on and interacting with the character though.

I don't have to have had a child to know how ridiculously stupid (and selfish) it is to bring about the suffering of all mankind just to save my kid. We should also consider the idiocy of taking the word of a crazed former magister-turned-darkspawn as trustworthy. Because that always plays out well, right? Felix was dying of blight sickness; did Alexius really think Corypheus wouldn't ultimately claim his son?

 

Alexius was a moron. His kid knew he was a moron. I'm pretty sure Corypheus knew he was a moron.

 

At least we know where you fall on the issue. Will save us a year of pain and suffering by your hand.

Sera is one of my favorites, Viv too even if I don't agree with her on (most) things.

Solas is the only companion I actually hate, and I dislike Varric and Stinkwall.

Vivienne is at the top of the list. I like everyone else, including cassandra. I thought I would not like her at first, but as the grame progress and I talked to her, discovered an awesome written character. If I ever do a straight quizzy, she will be the obvious romance. I don't mind sera or even cole, I chat with them sometimes.

 

But Vivienne...I can't stand her at all.

Don't like Viv much, I journey with Viv, Sera and blackwall in the we all hate Viv party.

It's good on the all too rare occasion you can extract conversation out of them. Pulling teeth is easier than getting them talk though sadly.

Strangely enough, I grew fond of Sera further into the game.  Cole is my least favourite now, supplanting Vivienne.  I basically ignored him after doing his personal quest.  I just had no reason to be invested in him.  Vivienne I dislike because of her arrogance and willingness to use people.  Solas I liked at first, but over time he started to get on my nerves. 

 

So my three least favourite characters would be Cole, Vivienne and Solas, in that order.  Sera, Dorian (eesh, mage companions weren't that great in DA:I) and Blackwall are somewhere in the middle.  The truth about Blackwall really hurt, as he was one of my favourite characters before.

 

Cassandra, Varric, and Iron Bull I love.

Sera is probably the stand out character of this game, and it has nothing to do with liking or hating (I don't like her). The fact is though, she is impossible to ignore because she's just so odd and different to what you expect. So whatever you think about her, you almost certainly *do* have an opinion on her. Many of the characters in this game, I just found a bit meh - I didn't really care one way or the other, I may strongly dislike Sera, but at least she made a strong enough impression for me to think about how I felt about the character.

 

But anyway, we can't choose her, so... I don't know really. Vivienne's really grating, but Leliana probably 'wins' for me. I liked her in Origins (and despite what it may seem, I have no inbuilt dislike of female characters - I usually play as a female character myself). But anyway, in Inquisition, I found Leliana to be insufferably smug, taunting, bizarrely and needlessly cruel and vindictive, and just generally 'I'm a spy and a player of deadly, graceful dances and games' in a way that came across as irksomely self absorbed and irritating.

 

Gah, I don't know. Due to the heightened sense of melodrama in this game, all the characters have moments where they are annoying to a greater or lesser degree, The only ones I have no real issues with are Cassandra, Barras and (most of the time) Cullen and Josephine.

 

So... Vivienne if we're talking about just the party. Leliana if we include the advisors and with 'honorable' mentions to characters like Bianca and Dagna (again, it looks like the worst case of Mysoginistic ranting on record, but I just felt the female characters were written particularly badly in this game). .

Anyway, I don't hate any characters, but I guess I'd go with Vivienne for "most wasted potential." She has no character arc, and although static characters can be interesting, she also doesn't display a terrible amount of character depth, either. Her character quest is the worst in the game.

 

I was really looking forward to her, too.

I don't generally dislike any of them. The only companions I like the LEAST are Iron Bull, Varric, and Cole.

I don't hate any of them, but Solas usually hates me. I still want to nom on his chin though.
