Laughing @ the title of this OP.

Solas, because he's too damn hard to please and always gets his breeches in a knot over my decision making. Racist against Qunari/Tal Vashoth which earned him a smack in the face.

And if you wanna get back at "Madam De Fer", there is a way. Psychologically it is better than smacking her out.

You are operating under the assumption that everyone hates Sera. You are incorrect. I don't "hate" any of the companions, per se, but I actually prefer Sera (or even Solas) to someone like Vivienne.

No he's not. He's simply asking a question that excludes her.

Excluding Sera, my least favourite is Vivienne.

From that, you've learned nothing at all about my opinion of Sera.

I don't mind Sera myself, but I really don't see her ever being inducted into an actual Inquisition.

I was extremely dissappointed with Celene and Briala. Dear god Celene's voice/accent was terrible.

Sera is great.

As for the topic at hand? I don't hate any of the characters, but Cole and Solas are my least favourite. I also like Iron Bull less than I thought I would.

Apart from Sera? Vivienne.

All of my companions are on good terms with my Inquisitor except those two.

I'm going to pick Sera anyway, because out of the companions - I actually like everyone else.

I thought Solas was racist to everyone except ancient elves. Or at least, he seems to have a problem with everyone. If only I could get Sera to help me play a prank on Solas!

I love pretty much all the characters but sera, but I don't hate her. She's just kinda..meh.

But every other character I am pretty much 300% loving. God damn what a fantastic bunch. Even when you do runs where you ****** them off immensely it's hilarious and they're wonderful characters.

I for one do not "hate" any of the characters. There are some that I do not like. If I had to pick one that I don't like the most it would be Iron Bull.

I also think Sera is cool. Weird huh?

Of the lot, the one character that I could honestly imagine hating the most while being in their company would probably be Vivienne, because you just know that uppity sorceress is looking down her nose at everyone from miles away. I don't hate any of the characters, since I find them all to be entertaining, but of the lot of them, Vivienne is the one I care for the least.

Hate is too strong of a word but the one I like the least so far is Vivienne.

Iron Bull. I thought he'll be very funny, but now I think he's rather tedious. His banter with Vivienne is the only one thing I like. And I don't like the fact, that he ends up with Dorian when Inquisitor's with someone else. I know, stupid like hell, but I don't like my main LI's potential companion romances (same with Fenris & Isabela romance).

The threads title implies that the OP believes Sera is the most hated and / or most people would choose Sera.  There would be no need to exclude Sera, otherwise.  I simply pointed out that not everyone dislikes (or even hates) Sera.  Therefore, the OP is incorrect in assuming Sera is everyone's most hated companion.  As I previously stated, I don't hate any of the companions but Vivienne is the companion I like the least.

Favourite to least favourite (late game):

Cassandra (passionate, determined... should probably be the Inquisitor)
Dorian (suave, has no respect for the status quo or conventional wisdom, trolls everyone for fun)
Solas (actually has a clue what's going on most of the time)
Iron Bull (down to earth, looks dragony, wears an eye patch)
Cole (like Solas, often offers extra insight into what's going on)
Varric (kinda bland, run of the mill good guy)
Vivienne (irritating, acts like she's important despite all evidence to the contrary, annoying Skyhold location)
Sera (a wasp at a picnic, not funny, not cool, offers nothing of value)
Blackwall

Blackwall, tempted to say Iron Bull but I can't blame the character for the voice acting.

I got irritated hearing Isabela flirt with Fenris... so guess where he is now? Back with Tevinter.

Just to the person who wondered why I disliked Dagna. She just seemed like 'Laura Bailey squee voice character B', and was overtly quirky in a way that came across as trying too hard. I know Dagna was always kind of this way, but in Origins she had more natural charm and vim about her, without it seeming too much. She was genuinely a breath of fresh, excited air in a city of dour, stand-offish, traditionialist grouches.

In this game, she's the wacky 'Joss Whedonish' magic science girl, whose quirks are stretched to breaking point to try and mask how ridiculous and unlikely her various talents are. (the bit with the listening device crystal hologram thing is just insulting). But in terms of her personality, she just came across as a caricature, rather than a character. Which was particularly damaging, considering she was one of a very, very small amount og Dwarf characters in this game (and characters like Bianca are also this way, albeit in a Bond Girl kind of way).

I guess in many ways, Dagna is picking up some reflected anger I have towards how the Dwarfs have been treated in this game, but that's true of most of the races. Again it seems like this game is 'all about those humans'. The other races (and even your own character if you choose a non human) get pretty shafted in terms of their culture, how much the game dwells on those other races. It really does seem like its all humans, all the time.

Nearly peed my pants @ "Joss Whedonish magic science girl".

I get what you mean though, about being a tryhard. Didn't bother me too much... I love the dwarves. Favourite race to play, she is kinda cute but a little bit childish.

Yeah, I like the Dwarfs too - that why I want some Dwarfs who aren't trying to win over the crowd so obviously. I like Varric, but to have him be the only Dwarf for the second game in a row? And they don't even go into his lore much this time, assuming most either already know it, or don't care. Every time something about Dwarfs comes up, he starts to explain and then says 'Ah... forget it, I don't care about Dwarf Culture really'.

I just want some Dwarfs who actually hold Dwarf values! I know in his own way, Varric does have some pride in his Dwarven heritage, but come on - can't we have just a few more perspectives? I know that surface Dwarfs are not the same as the 'real' (as they would see it) Dwarfs, and that without going underground you couldn't meet them or have any in your party. But for Bioware to to use that as an excuse to wave the white flag and say 'Well... guess that means no Dwarfs at all really... Sorry!' is a bit deflating.

Like I say, I thought all the other races got the shaft in this game. They barely feature and are hardly ever spoken of, only appearing in short bursts of 'Hey folks - its the Dalish! Give them a big hand! And heeeer'es the Qunari! See you next game fellas! And now heeer'es... etc etc.

But then this game's focus is squarely on one thing and one thing only - the rise of the Inquisition, and having this game basically be a King simulator. If you changed the name on the box to King;s Quest... whatever its up to now, and billed it as the new direction for that series, it would fit right in, with no changes necessary. This game is purely about delivering a 'You are an Adventurer King' simulator experience, and everything else (including the main story) takes very much a back seat. The various races and their cultures are just one element that get elbowed aside, so in that sense they're in the same boat as everything else.

Yeah, the game focuses less on race and origin and more on "Let's save the world as a united front".

You can talk about your life before joining the Inquisition at the start of the game, but you don't actually get the choices you did in DA:O. You can't be a city elf, you have to be a Dalish. If you're a Qunari you're not really a Qun, you're Tal Vashoth which basically means you're human in a beastly body.

I personally didn't mind playing as a carta thug, shites all over human noble or even Dalish elf, though I admit I find the idea of the Dalish a little bit interesting.

Lol, Sera is awesome.

While I don't 'dislike' any of them, Vivian isn't my favorite.
