Other than graphic improvements for console players, I think the biggest thing would be all dlc included. I would love to have the ME1 pc cheat armors unlocked. Also, I would like a beret without having to mod. That is all. If I had a beret, I am sure eighty percent of my Shepards would wear it. That is all.
What do you want to see in the Remastered Edition of the ME Trilogy?

Improved animations. Some of them are spot on, most are O.K., but a few are poor. Watching one of your companions turn their head 360 degrees to talk to you just weirds me out.

replinish med-gel and add a revive to ME2. Clean up the combat system and take out the red veins. Also fix Shepard head movements. Among other things. Can I get some news on this,it seems as if the remastered edition is just a pipe dream.

I registered this account specifically to answer this thread - I don’t tend to post much on forums. Many of these suggestions are inspired by other people’s earlier in this thread - I claim no credit. It’s also not exhaustive - there are lots of other requests.
- PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions. Maybe a Mac version?
- 1080P is essential. 60fps is desirable, but less essential. FMV sections will need to be re-rendered if possible.
- The highest-quality textures and sounds available. Some may need re-sourcing. (There are mods for PC versions already out there which have improved some of them, but presumably Bioware has even higher quality original materials which may be usable with reasonable reworking).
- All three games and all their DLC on one disc with a single central menu (or on separate discs in a single box if they need more space for the best quality).
- As many bugs fixed as possible, not that there were many, and storage-related omissions restored (such as certain combinations of characters that were disallowed in some missions on consoles, but were fine on PC).
- The original gameplay and endings (plus extended versions) should be available, since these are not new games but best-possible quality versions of the excellent originals. Game mechanics should be available in an unchanged version, although additional configuration options might extend the choices available.
- A Mass Effect equivalent of the Dragon Age Keep, which would allow entering the latter two games with a predefined history to import. Ideally, this should be on-disc rather than online, since many of the people who will buy this will be looking for a long-term archival version that they'll be able to play in future, long after servers have been shut down.
- Modern consoles should support loading faster. E.g. shorter MAKO deployment loading screens, and the ability to press a button to cut short the elevator scenes in ME1. Personally I'd still listen to any dialogue happening in elevators, as I'm a storyline player, but the quieter ones can drag on a bit, especially on the Normandy, where you had to endure them rather often.
- Improved (higher-vertex) models could be great if they wouldn't change gameplay
- Kinect voice/gesture commands for all the games. Equivalents on other platforms, if it's feasible.
- Seamless branching from each game's ending into the next game, with automatic importing of the previous game's final status.
- The ability import saved games from the original versions of the games, either via local storage, USB sticks or cloud storage. Ideally, the ability to import prior saves to another platform would be nice, although the 'keep' method above would suffice.
- Automatic saved games (which won't be overwritten) just before each major branching decision, so that we can go back and explore alternative outcomes with the same character. Maybe even an 'undo' mode to explore the alternative branches of the story.
- The ability to retrain more easily, re-allocating characters' skills, in all games.
- The making-of and/or behind-the-scenes extras from the original collector's editions remastered on blu-ray including whatever additional resources may exist (even if not in HD).
- Any previously omitted content that's feasible to restore could be included
- The three soundtracks on CDs or in high quality MP3 (or better still, some kind of lossless format too).
- Further character appearance options, such as beards, long hair and more outfits.
- A limited form of skipping some of the criticised sections in past games, e.g. an option to skip (or fire a single mega-probe) over the planet-scanning in ME2 and get in return an average result. Enthusiasts can still do the scanning manually, and get every last resource and side-mission, but story-players and newcomers can skip the drudge-work and have a decent (though not exhaustive) experience. A similar option might be possible for some MAKO sequences in ME1 (though personally I still enjoyed the MAKO).
- God-mode. Only once the trilogy is complete, the ability to re-play starting with all your end-game kit, all stats on maximum values, all conversation options available, unlimited equipment and ammo, automatic success in planet scanning, unlimited time in hacking, decryption, electronics, bypasses, etc.
- The Mass Effect iOS games rejuvenated and made compatible with modern devices.

I loved the trilogy, including the endings, which I felt were appropriate to the universe and character development: even a sad ending can be a good ending. (I realise many others disagree.) I’d probably buy this remaster even if it had only the basics. But let’s look at what could turn it from a bare-bones remaster into something really worthwhile:
Welcome to the world of BW forum membership, some nice ideas there. Just the point in bold I wanted to address, I don't think you'll find many that disagree with you actually. The problem most people have with the endings is not their attempted tone, but that they were just done badly and also hyped in the wrong manner prior to release.

Remove the decryption mini game (especially ME1) and make it like ME3
Much better graphics/textures for ME1
Maybe add some cinematics that shows previous squadmates and other races fighting in Priority: Earth
Change the planet scanning of ME2 to how it is in ME3
Include all DLCs
Make the ME1 combat like ME3 (if possible)
I would say KEEP ME2's planet scanning, but make it faster and yield MUCH HIGHER QUANTITIES so I don't have to spend much time with it. Believe it or not, there are some people that liked it and found it to be a nice relaxing break. I'm not necessarily one of them, but I'm not a fan of just taking things out altogether.

I wouldn't mind overhauling the skill tree in Mass Effect 1. For example, this is a real time action RPG. Having to spend points on "accuracy" when you're actively aiming your weapon seems too antiquated and unnecessary.

With the new consoles having more power and all that jazz, I would like to see more reapers in Vancouver during the prologue. The lack of reapers was a little "womp womp waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" if you catch my meaning.
They look like they're looking through trash. Not destroying civilization. There should be more chaos, more destruction, death, bodies, fire, smoke....More Reapers! It felt like some of the reapers had flight delays and would be there shortly LOL.
The invasion should look more like this:

And less like this:

The Reapers must be Canadian. They are so polite. I can hear them saying "sorry" LOL. JK
The sky should blacken and boil as tons of reapers rip through the sky.

I was told that they couldn't get it working for the PS3 port for some reason. So I suspect future ports may also struggle.

Must haves:
-All DLC included
-on PC (not really a console player)
Would be very nice:
-Collector SMG and sniper in SP
-ME3 femshep in ME1 and ME2
-New alt appearances
Would be cute:
-Other MP items in SP
-ME3 armor and weapons in ME2 (for as long that story does not conflict)

The ironic thing is,even if Bioware doesn't implement a single change, increase a single texture and just threw all the DLC in without integrating them people would still buy it like sheep.

Not unexpected, considering how much it costs to get the three games with all DLCs. If remastered version is cheaper it'll be a good deal for someone who doesn't own DLCs or games. The ironic thing is,even if Bioware doesn't implement a single change, increase a single texture and just threw all the DLC in without integrating them people would still buy it like sheep.

Add a tribute to Robin Sachs(RIP), the voice of Zaeed Massani, who died on Feb 1 2013
While that would be touching, it would ultimately be superfluous and too self-indulgent. Resources should be spent on things that....matter. Like actually upgrading the game.
