So, I have seen -PenguinFetish- has posted a lot of great build guides up here, and so this may be redundant in some cases, but I have started putting together Youtube build guides for each class (it sadly takes 1-2 weeks for each video between getting the right build... leveling around key glitches and CTDs... put together and recording/editing, all around my work/social life).

Without stepping on -PenguinFetish-'s toes, would anyone care to see them if I posted them on here?

I only ask because I trying to get more feedback on them (content, presentation, ease-of-use, etc).

I think the DAMP community could always use more content creators. I appreciate Penguin's build videos but there's more than one way to play a character.

Not at all man. In fact when it comes to guides the more the merrier since playstyles / experiences differ.

Well that was resoundingly positive...

I remember with ME3 MP we had moments where the members of the community would decide on a topic (When they first thought the Venom shotgun was garbage lol) and we would have some members come up with dissenting opinions and test out other builds/setups and find that the general consensus could be totally off. More people posting up different builds encourages people to experiment more. Which then leads to more interesting and unorthodox builds with characters which increases the longevity of the game. So the more quality content creators the better really.

Which is want I want to do. I was really inspired by how INVADERONE really tried to find the best in almost any weapon in his videos, despite what info may or may not have been accurate.

This is why it takes me a while to make build guides... I have to test a skill in MP, potentially promote, relevel, and try another skill set. It's time consuming when you do it around work and social life, and you get annoying CTDs and key glitches.

Not to mention that, as many people like to point out, most people playing the multiplayer won't go onto to forums with any regularity to really get some of the in depth information, but many of those people will be willing to watch some youtube videos discussing the game. So it does help to enlighten members of the community outside of the forums.

Which is also why I started with basic "How to play your class role" guides. I really need to expound those in a way that is more MP specific. I'll have to get you, Kev, and maybe Forgy to help, since you all are pretty solid at roles if you need to be.

Speaking of which, anyone else on PC wanting to help by joining me in matches and demonstrating good team dynamics, feel free to let me know!

I watched a few and could only think of two things when watching:

IGN should replace their current head of game guides with you.

If I was EA corporate commander I would order bioware to steal your videos and integrate them into the game in a tutorials tab and have snippets accessible during screen loading. Then as a gamer I could say that the game did at least one thing brilliantly (aside from the very good sound production and a few characters not written by lazy ****s).

edit: Oh also, if AI controlled youtube recommended videos, your videos would be at the very top if anyone searched for dragon age multiplayer.

No, if you post here i will sue you for infringing my exclusive deal with bioware to post youtube guides here.

Seriously though, please do. Im tired of very select people telling me that my builds arent good without posting anything useful themselves. Id love to see how other people play their classes.
