I agree. I would love to see weapon racks and mannequins to put our rare items and armors on display. The castle needs a lot of work still. This game will get better with the right updates and DLC packs, but it shouldn't have been released in this condition. I would have been willing to wait if all of the problems could have been worked out. I'm wondering if anyone tested this game a lot before it was released? I assume they were aware of a lot of these concerns that have been listed in this forum.

I confess I finally caved in....

 

I used the CE to increase my loot bag limit from 60 to 256... hehehe. I still sell tons of loot and those rings drive me bananas..

Wow. Is the Xbox really that unstable? Haven't had a single glitch or crash on the ps4... But I really miss a Storage Chest. 60+ purple items in my sack really limits the game...

To answer your question, yes both the xbox 360 and the xbox one are both that unstable, with the xbox 360 being the worst of the two. The game on the 360 though is awful compared to play on the xbox one. The one has better stability, less freezing, and of course better graphics and even has a few features the 360 doesn't. I really felt robbed when I paid for the deluxe edition on the xbox 360, I should have gotten it for the xbox one. Now I am stuck with no storage chest, a ton of instability, crappy graphics, and freezing issues. This will probably be the last time I buy a new game like this. I'll wait a couple months later and get it half price or lower at gamestop or Walmart. I would pay for DLC if they release the storage capacity and more story though. I know, I've got sucker written on my head huh?

No additional storage is like sleeping on a bed with no pillows. Functional, sure, but utterly uncomfortable. If it wasn't for the work done on the Cheat Engine I would not be playing this game.

Yeah, but if your on the xbox there is no cheat engine, right? Im stuck in no storage hell.....items list full and no where to store all these purple weapons....even borderlands had a storage bank. Please Bioware, you have to give us a legitimate storage chest on the xbox.

It's absurd that an rpg with limited inventory space and such well thought out loot tables that give you a helmet you can't equip until level 6 in the tutorial or a unique staff you can't equip for 6 levels a ace to store them.

That was my point exactly Abradax. Why would anyone make a game with thousands of weapons, armor, items, etc. and not make a simple storage space for it. Either that or give me unlimited carry space on my character.

I think they probably just forgot about it when they ran out of time. I bet a chest or something will get added to the game soon.

It's so funny there is actually a chest in the undercroft....  as a decorative item however that you cannot interact with.

 

It's Bioware being like: " ".

 

I personally don't care so much about the chest issue. I just think of you guys everytime i pass it.

I know BW said they were getting back to how DAO was but did they HAVE to include the no storage items to that list?

 

I mean come on between weapons/armor and crafting mats you can run out of space really quickly.

Maybe there should be painted lines over the landscape so you don't need to bother looking at a map either. Grid A, 3 I hear has 137 rocks you might find interesting. Too bad all that story gets in the way of this MMO.

Hey cmon now Magnum PI, cut us hoarders and collectors some slack. We just asking for a little storage space for the millions of collectibles they shoved in this game. Some of it I might want to check out when Im bored. Hey, next thing you know Higgins and them two Dobermans are going to show up at skyhold as agents of the inquisition at this rate, LOL.

I am still playing this game blind at my 2nd playthrough, but at this point I know nothing is really worthwhile as far as weighted objects. If anything I would want scenario armor so I could understand your concern to a point. I mean if I could stick items in a trophy case or a fully functional bookcase that's one thing, but they amount to nothing in inventory or in chests alike.

 

I honestly think it was to make a serious point that you aren't playing skyrim and to push you into story mode. I mean that game got to mmo checklist status. What would be funny is if your companions staged an intervention for your hoarding. Let it goooo let it goooooooo.

 

You like the super soaker though... I know you do.

Especially in a game like DA where you never know if it's a good idea to sell all those seemingly random valuables you've picked up because the minute you do you're likely to get a quest that needs them....

Nope. A design decision based on the MP component.

 

In MP, if you want one you pay real dollars for it.  Biodegradableware did make a compromise. Crafting materials are not counted as an item in the loot bag. This we knew, before the game was launched ( if I remember correctly).

Yes, a good point.

 

But, it also adds weight to Mike's "choices have consequences", mantra. I think Biodegradableware learned a lesson from ME3 regarding choices and poor endings. in this instance, they can correctly argue that choices do have consequences.

Stupid choice not to put one in gamlen even has one but the inquisition does not yeah nice one.
