Well mLiquid, I think your just flat out wrong. Why cant we have a simple chest to store items into that might be used for quests. If you have played it through as many times as you boast about, then you must have noticed the 10 thousand items they threw into this game and how they didn't tell us which ones we might need later for quests or the like. Having a simple storage chest in such a big castle like Skyhold is just common sense. They put all that work into items and castle building and couldn't put a simple chest to put items into. That's completely absurd!!!!
Please Bioware, Give Us Loyal Gamers A Storage Chest At Skyhold....

Oh and hey one more thing. We need a way to swap weapon sets in battle. I've noticed that I cant switch back to daggers if I have a bow out in case enemies get close. Another item on the add and fix list huh guys?

Anyone else wanting to see a storage chest speak up with your thoughts and ideas. I cant wait for a huge DLC with a good patch for this game.

I just wanted to thank everyone who viewed, supported, and took the time to read my topic. Lets keep this one moving to get us a storage chest, and to keep pushing for more DLC and supportive updates. Thanks everyone. Game on.

I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about future dlc or patches that might include the storage chest. If we aren't going to get anything else then I'm all played out here.

Yes please, storage chest in the inqui`s bedroom, much needed. And it would also give a reason to visit our quarters ![]()
I read (on Bioware blog I think) that they are looking into adding a way to alter character appearance in game = my guess, maybe a mirror in the bedroom? Sounds like a good time for the chest to appear as well...

There should be a storage chest in every camp of DAI and your personal quarters.
Just add this in patch 4.
Another feature DAI lacks and was taken out since DAO.......enough taking away features and options already.

Yeah, not having a storage chest simply doesn't make any sense at all. I mean, it's not like you have a giant fortress or something to store stuff in... oh, wait ![]()

I sure would love to use that giant honking empty treasure room where the wine cellar is. Your character even comments on how huge the place is, the first time you go there. But apparently you aren't even allowed to store a spare pair of boots in your own fortress ![]()
Edit: Phoenix beat me to it. Secondary edit and minor spoiler:

As well as a storage chest it would be nice to have some kind of trophy room as well, a place to display weapons and armor.

I was curious if anyone has heard any gossip or rumors about putting us some chests in the game. Chests at our camps and at skyhold would be really good right now as my items pile up.

There is a chance we might get a Storage Chest (probably in Skyhold) and also get a way to change Inquisitor's appearance, post initial CC. DA2 had both a Storage Chest and a way to change Hawke's appearance post initial CC (via the free Black Emporium DLC). KOA Reckoning had more than 1 Storage Chest, although that was published and not developed by EA. Bioware is at least aware that DAI fans would like a Storage Chest. An article on Examiner.com mentions this as well. However, both are from November 2014 so that is a bit discouraging at this point.

It's funny really, DA 2 I never used the chest. Not once, sell it all who cares! This time around I'm 'Dang' two level 20 armours at level 14 plus other stuff I'd like to keep, please don't make me sell it ![]()
Throw mine into the chest vote! Display would be nice too ![]()

I agree with a lot of the comments about wanting to see a display case. Skyrim had issues, but it had storage chests and display cases in abundance. I can remember displaying rare weapons and armors with pride. Gamers, especially American gamers, are collectors and pack rats. We love our in game loot and yes we spend a lot of time collecting and love to display our trophies. I would buy a DLC that contained features such as this.

I can't believe there's no chest yet... I was expecting one after the first patch or something. They must have realized by now how big of a difference having a storage chest can make. It can't be that difficult. Does Bioware not care? They only want to release one that we must pay for? Or what?
You guessed it. They're expecting we'll pay for it, and sadly, many of us will.
I do not believe for one second that the idea of a storage chest did not cross any of the developers minds while they were building this game. All of the people involved and it never occurred to them? Of course it did.
But DAI is predicated very much on fixing mistakes that were made in DA2. One such "mistake" from a developer point of view was possibly that they included a storage chest for free when they could have charged players for it (as they did in DAO).
So they release this game, and shovel out tons of crap at us. More crap than our toons can carry with the knowledge that all of us, eventually, will be demanding a storage chest.
And here we are.
It'll be along in due course. Get your wallets ready.

If you read the note outside her room you will notice that Sera managed to get some storage items for her room.
I have a habit of wanting to save up any unique items I come across. If I could mount them as trophies I would be a happy little camper.

All of us loyal gamers are pretty much just wishfully hoping at this point for any new redeeming features to this now boring and mundane game. After the Winter Palace there really isn't much to keep me from just finishing the game and being content. No storage chest, no grand showroom, and now fixes that are worth anything. Now that the dupe glitch is gone, I am done. I'm not getting took like this again.

I am wondering if anything has ever been done about putting storage chests into the game? Got any DLC that might help?
