Every year they improve it. They add something new to the game. Like this year`s grass playing pitch feature.

I only played Silent hill one on PS1. Never got the chance of playing other ones. a shame.

 

The only good thing in PES that I like is that they improve your player by XP slowly over time rather than giving you certain tasks to complete. It gives the feeling of improving your player better than FIFA. The only good thing.

Eh, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 was a disappointment, it was enjoyable but disappointing but Konami only published that. I still maintain my 7 score for the game but the story, stealth crap, underpowered Dracula and ending all resonate wrongly for me. Seriously, that's one of the weakest iterations of Dracula I have ever seen. I haven't felt the need to play through the game again like the first either.

 

Metal Gear Ground Zeros...what the hell was that crap? I haven't played it but I still can't understand how Konami thought it would be fine to release one level from a game and sell it full priced as an entire game by itself. Mind you, people brought it still (even though knowing the problem) so I guess Konami laughed himself to the bank from it.

 

I know this isn't a serious thread. Just adding my opinion though on the stuff they've published/developed this year.

 

I look forward to what Konami are doing in the future though. The new Metal Gear looks sweet and I'm anxious to see what becomes of the CV series and if Konami will go back to developing games for it themselves or pass it to another developer (could you imagine a From Software developed CV?).

That's what I was thinking throughout the whole of LoS2. I swear he was much faster too and seriously, he had far more fun powers as Gabriel (cyclone boots, Dark Gauntlet and all of the aeriel moves).
 
Dracula in LoS2 can't even turn into bats, his mist form is painfully slow, his possession of humans is weak and the feed on blood mechanic is redundant when the tears of saints potion and void sword heal him better.  Playing as Dracula felt as restricting as playing as a vampire in vanilla Skyrim. 
 
To date, Legacy of Kain is the only series I've played where the vampire actually feels like one.
 
Damn, we need a new Legacy of Kain game...not that "Nogoth" F2P crap they've released. I would love to see a new Vampire Masquerade RPG too.

I wish they would reboot the Legacy of Kain games to post of the Soul Reavers stories. The Blood Omen 2 Hylden story was a little out there.

LoS1 was just a lot more solid than 2.

I feel like they should've gone back to the drawing board with 2, the Stealth sections, barren hub worlds, setting it in modern times. All of it should've been tweaked or removed.

Also the void sword should've been Draculas main weapon. The Shadow Whip and Chaos claws were really lame.

Just have the void sword, and keep the light and dark magic mechanics from 1.

I watched all four Transformers movies and then this question popped into my head. During Transformers 1, Decepticons beat the crap out of autobots and literally destroy them. Even Optimus gets his arse kicked by Megatron so bad and if it was not for the air strike, he was done.But in 2 and 3 and four, Autobots easil bang and dang deceticons. And Optimus is like Zeus fighting some peasant. It is a drastic change, one imo is a little hard to understand. He even easily dispacthes the fallen who is supposed to be a god in comparison to Optimus. It made me...a little bit disappointed.

Even if he had done that, that robot dude was not a prime or even close to one of Optimus`s soldiers to give him that much power to do those things. He was falling apart that rusty plane things without anyone even touching him. His fight with Snetinel was balanced and cool though. I liked that one. Or his fight with Lockdown.

Not those Dinosaur transofrming robots though. again overpowered. Even reborn Megatron was no match for him.

That's the Unicron Trilogy.

Transformers Cybertron to be more exact.

They had this weird obsession with making all the characters combine in some way (Especially Transformers Energon, where it was the main gimmick. Didn't even have Minicons, or Cyber Planet Keys to make it somewhat more interesting)

 

Thankfully they dropped that notion with Transformers Animated and Transformers Prime. Both were more straightforward, back to basics, and all the better for it.
