Decors:
Dwarven - Golums line the main hall and Orzamar statues on either side of the throne. If you chose to keep the Anvil in DAO the golums could seems to watch you as you walk past.
Dalish - I was thinking of Elvan ruin statues, but indoor trees (in planters) would look great too with some magical orbs that provide sunlight, or statues lining the hall and a tree behind the throne.
There are also a lot of rooms and towers unused that need some work.

When I picked up a book about the Pyramids of Par Vollen, I wanted to go there. I still don't know if they're in the game or not. But maybe one aspect of searching through its ancient ruins and maybe tombs would be to find valuable artifacts or statues, pottery, etc---a "collection" of sorts you could showcase somewhere in Skyhold as a reminder of your exploits. I shoulda been an archaeologist.
How about Mubari kennels, or Halla pens for a Dalish Inquisitor.
Also I wonder what a Qunari Decor would look like?
How about we get all those things in a patch and not in a DLC? I don't mind paying for bonus content but Skyhold upgrades should have been in the game from the start. What we have right now is underwhelming at best.
Yes, skyhold upgrades would be nice.
I would like to see Tevinter windows and a Tevinter throne, as well as other theme upgrades so they feel more complete.
