Let's dream a little bit if developers will listen to PC community and consider more tactical combat. At least for PC edition of the game.

Consider you're level 25 (easy thing to get if you're a completionist) - that gives you enough skill points to get a specialisation tree and one-and-a-half common skill trees. Let's take rogues as example.

I'm mainly melee rogue that lacks long-range combat abilities, but there's a need for it in a few places like dragon fights or boss fights in Winter Palace, or animal hunting. I have almost fully-explored Asassin tree, Daggers tree (left side) and a pile of skill points to be considered. And I want a bow.

So let me have two sets of weapons as it always was in DA since Origins!

And if it's done there's an opportunity to make warrior archers, too! Take an example from Origins, it had a strong warrior archer build with crossbows. Let them have the second set of weapons to switch to!

Strength-based ranged weapons can be javelines or crossbows. Both will do.

And now mages, that are equipped only with staffs. Remember good old Origin days? Battlemages?

Let mages have a second set of weapons for another staff OR sword, that requires Magic as a main attribute. Or just mage affinity and some level in case of Inquisition.

Even this slight change can make a party much more versatile with both melee/ranged damage type + behaviour and damage bonus types (against demons, dragons, whatsever else). Even this little, tiny patch can make battles more tactical.

I agree I would like my rogue to be an archer and dual wilder when I need him/her to be same with the warrior switch between two handed and single handed

Agreed! I was very disappointed when I couldn't switch weapons on the fly. You can't even access inventory while fighting. Which, sure, in the real world wouldn't happen- "Excuse me, I know you're trying to kill me, but could you hold on a sec, you're getting too close and I want to swap my bow for some daggers so I can cut your ass." But the option made Origins so much more fun to play when fighting. Especially with a rogue.

First time I ran into a dragon, both my mages were wielding fire staves. Which the dragon is resistant to. So I wanted to switch to some ice staves I had in my inventory... no chance. I had to reload a savegame just for that.

It's little things like that which frustrate me.
