I was wondering. As you progress through the game does the world become more peaceful and relaxing. For example in The Hinterlands there are people fighting everywhere. Does this change? What difference do you see as you progress and also when you complete the game and are returned to the world after credits has the world then almpost returned to a peaceful state?

Also, after completing the game, does the various people in the world have unique dialogue about you saving the world?

I'm still not finished the game (i tend to start a ton of different characters and play them concurrently)

But I'm pretty sure in the hinterlands you stop seeing roving bands of rogue templars and apostates once you take out the main camps

also the sun comes out in crestwood, literally

other than that I'm not sure

Sealing rifts and capturing forts does the most to settle a region. Post win you loose dialog and companion quests so, no there is no special dialog. You can finish side quests you missed but can't talk to companions, go for a kiss or, do their quests anymore.

As you take care of the pressing issues in the area those aggressive npcs will disappear.  In some regions they're sparsely replaced with generic bandits; example Hinterlands.
