I got a bit bored, so I took the Tier 3 swords from the thread here on the first page, then figured out what stats you would get from the different Tier 3 and 4 materials. This is what I got:

Dwarven Longsword
Effect 1
12% Barrier Damage Bonus
4% Critical Damage
8% Chance to Heal on Kill
7% Attack

Effect 2
14 Constitution
8 Strength, 8 Constitution
14 Strength
8 Strength, 6 Constitution

Tevinter Longsword
Effect 1
7 Constitution
4 Strength, 4 Constitution
7 Strength
4 Strength, 3 Constitution

Effect 2
12% Armor Penetration
8% Chance to Bleed on Hit
7% Attack
7% Chance to Stagger on Hit
12% Guard Damage

Effect 3
12% Crit Damage
14% Armor Penetration
7% Critical Damage
7% Bleed on Hit
12% Flanking Damage

Split Longsword
Effect 1
12% Armor Penetration
8% Bleed on Hit
7% Stagger on Hit
7% Attack
12% Damage to Guard

Effect 2
14 Constitution
8 Strength, 8 Constitution
14 Strength
8 Strength, 6 Constitution

My question is, has anyone bothered to do this for other Tier 3 schematics? Knowing what effects each schematic can get is something worth knowing, I think.

.. all you need is the slot information. Basically what kind of slot it is, and then you choose your materials to get what you want. You seem to be working of limited t3 materials. but basically if it has 6 offence slots you multiply what ever materaial you use with 6 to know how much the effect will be.

I'm aware of how the system works. My issue is that the different slots and materials means that each slot has different possible effects. For example, the Tevinter Longsword has lower possible Strength and Constitution stats than the other two, while the Dwarven Longsword is the only one that can have a Barrier damage bonus (admittedly a rather useless stat, but it serves to illustrate my point). This means some schematics may be better than others in the same category, and I believe that's something worth knowing.

I believe most of the schematics listed on the fextralife wiki have this for all possible materials.

Yes.

http://dragonage3.wi...leaxe Schematic

They have great information on the various schematics found and what stats you can craft.

Off the top of my head I know that the archmage staff, due to it having the most metal offense, gives the best attack % of all the t3 staffs. While the Seer staff due to it having them most leather offense, is best for crit chance. Those are arguably the best staff schematics in the game..

Cool. That's actually exactly what I was interested in. Thanks.

If you guys find anything we are missing on the site, please let fex or myself know. Primarily fex though. I am working on a number of projects on that forum.. mostly walkthroughs for the various puzzles though.
