Really? That whats bothers people? TAVERN SONGS, EYEBROWS and PAJAMAS??? Well then I guess we deserve that week parody of game. Are you shore you pick right game for yourself? Try some Korean mmo or sims there you can get yours pajamas and cool loocking eyebrows, stop making DA another mmo there is plenty of them and we don’t need one more. Combat, tactics, crafting is abysmal but no, people want more hairstyles...

I love all those suggestions Octarin and am really hoping we get some dlc or updates to solve most/all of those issues.

I have one more to add, Id like to see more armour and weapon designs. At present I see mostly variations of one or two designs and I really think in such a huge game there should be a load of designs to find and keep. (Storage and dummies to present them on would be nice) Especially since they haven't enabled modders to fix that problem for them as in previous games)

And there are a number of designs already in game as in the companions armours, npc gear and the dresses from the ball (Id very happily run around in a ball gown shooting off lightening, yeha!)

(Ops-Just noticed a few others have already made this suggestion :) )

This thread is about minor cosmetic improvements to the game. The big ones are discussed in plenty of other threads already and I have posted there too. Personally I hate the mmo direction DA:I is going towards. You're preaching to the choir here. That said, show a little respect towards other people's opinions.

Good list and I'm fine with it.

Don't have another point to upgrade the list. About the pajamas, I really find it strange : How come that the guys that made ME2 and ME3 have forgotten to give our main character choice of cloths? After all, at the very beginning of these games, you get the choice of casual clothes and you can change anytime.

Fort those who are whinning like "They are minor points!" or "Make them full-price DLC" : This thread is about real minor changes that implies little efforts to implement in the game. In fact, they are so minor that it is strange to not found them in the game itself. Bioware made several games before DAI and they showed a will of improvement and we are disappointed that they give us a game with so many lacking gimmicks they gave us before. DAI is a good game. But he can be an almost perfect one if they did the job. (When all the patches are out and the game is working).

It's alright to disagree, but please refrain from insulting other people. Thanks.

Believe me when I tell you I'd seriously love to see some of those as well. But, as I said at the beginning, I will not be including any improvement that means extra coding and programming or severe code alteration. Skyhold improvements, Inquisitor's quarters usefullness, much-needed armour and weapons, and other such improvements, even tactics and extra combat slots would mean extra programming and that would be unfair to ask for a free DLC. I agree with you completely however.

@ OP
You might also consider those awful anime-style melee weapon sizes. I mean, daggers look more like short swords, and 2h hammers are must weight 60+kg at that size. It's kinda lore-breaking. Bows look too thick for my tastes (daym my rogue elf has little petite hands that can't grip THAT THICK HANDLER).

I think Freud is lauphing his face out but still!

It is probably more for the visibility ingame.

With small daggers, your character will look like more making boxing than slashing. And the best way to make a heavy-looking weapon is to make here bigger (hello Doom's BFG!). The size of the bow is perhaps so the player can see in which direction he is aiming. After all, you snipe often at long-range and get the camera far away at this moment.

Lauphed a lot about the bow part. You know, half of the time I snipe my char looks OTHER WAY, but not in the direction of target.
Due to a bug. :D

As for the daggers - okay than make them x1,5 of normal. Or at least more thin.

Because I have really tough time guessing HOW by Dread Wolf I stub people with THAT? I'd be more likely to stun if I hit the head...

@Octarin - in reply to my post, above, you wrote:

As for your #14, you can, when you're in Skyhold, you can equip everyone, without even needing to go to a  locker.

Where and how is this done?  This doesn't appear as an option when interacting with the various party members while they're "hanging out" in Skyhold.

Thanks.

Those things are definitely needed. Some aren't necessary on console (walk toggle) but it would be nice for the PC players.

It should be in one big patch instead of a bunch of DLC though.

A new game + or the chance to have our Inquistors face as a preset for future run would be great, with the enormous time people can invest in creating their character.

You don't have to interact with them, right as you are standing someplace within Skyhold, open up your inventory, and scroll through your companions. Instead of having the party companions only, you have the full set appear. :)

Couldn't agree more. But, in the name of corporate squeamishness, let's call it a DLC so's not to give them heartburn.

My dear, whyever would you want a facecode for your character as is? You so love that bobcut to bits? :P [seriously it's a good idea. they did it in ME3 after fan base prompt from ME2 iirc]

1. HAIRSTYLES - Most people have had enough with the crop cuts for women and the buns for men. Not to mention there's an entire horde of Qunari players screaming their guts out for some livable hairdos. More hairstyles. The don't need to be entirely new, just unlock the meshes for the ones already in the game. Anora's hairdo, Cassandra's hairdo, and so on. Even though many people request new hairdos, even a few of the existing ones will do.

2. THE DREADED PAJAMAS - There's even an entire thread in Reddit about why the heck we're wearing pajamas in Skyhold. Good question! Once again, the mesh is there, you only have to unlock it, and the Inquisitor can walk around in their armour. Or just make an actually cool attire, how hard can that be? Check out some swashbuckling images, and you can find some good unisex attires, if that's your problem that you don't want to make an individual attire for females and males. But please, no more baby-puke-coloured pajamas!

3. STORAGE CHEST - Speaks for itself. Given the fuss after DA:O for not being there and being introduced as DLC, and after DA2 which had a storage chest from start, now we're back to not having a storage chest somehow. Why? Go figure. Now, get back to your senses and put the storage chest back in. You could fit an army down at the dungeons, but hey! I can't find anywhere to put my mace!

4. MIRROR - There's various mirrors around Skyhold, it'd be the easiest thing to make one actually functional. Remember the Black Emporium mirror? Yes, that one. Enable past-CC customization in other words. Also not horribly difficult to code.

8. INDIVIDUAL HIDE HELMETS - People want to be able to hide the single attrocious mage cap, but be able to see the Qunari's Vitar, for example.

9. CRAFTING SCHEMATICS STATS COMPARISON - So we don't have to reload after we spend five minutes making some piece of junk that we thought would be better than the found armour we got on, but in the end isn't.

10. PAUSE CINEMATICS - It'd be nice if we could pause a cinematic sequence when that damn phone rings or when someone in the immediate environment starts screaming and shouting. Just saying.

11. BETTER CONTROLS AND LIGHTING FOR CC - Many people complain that the lighting and position of the head in CC isn't the same as what you get in the game itself, it's too dark and you end up overdoing the makeup to compensate.

14. INDEPENDENT COLOUR CHOICE FOR HAIR-EYEBROWS-BEARDS - Just cause we're really disagreeing that black bushy eyebrow looks good on a ginger mage. Let us choose.

I want these ones so much! I don't mind the lighting too much in the Inquisitor CC, but the Hawke one is dreadful, completely black.

It would also be lovely to have a Skyhold outfit schematic rather than the outfit. Then we could remake it into a colour/texture we prefer.

I don't think this is the nicest way to ask for free DLCs... *sigh*

And try not to generalize, I think the darkspawn model is just fine, and I see no pyjamas, although I admit it's not my favorite style, but I wouldn't demand them to change that if they do not want to. I'm sure they are open to new ideas for improvement and constructive criticism, but it feels like you are demanding it, instead of asking for it >.<

I'd like some of what you ask to be added in the future, but I don't think it's really necessary. It would be great though. And if I had to ask for something, I'd like the possibility to zoom further in while in combat, like in DA2 or DAO, to feel more invested in the action xD

I'm not "generalizing", I'm not making any assumptions here that lead to any generic feeling or compartmentalization or the lack thereof, I am COMPILING A LIST of all the MINOR FIXES that myself and OTHER PEOPLE have noticed and complained about EN MASSE in several OTHER POSTS IN THE FORUMS. And yeah, I'm getting a little sick of this don't say this don't say that, I'll say whatever the god damn I want. Hope that's clear. For COMBAT fixes please refer to the link I include at the END OF THE INITIAL POST. Thanks.

Would those codes happen to function on consoles? just curious.

But a new game + would still be a good thing. In ME was quite handy. since create a decent femshep was a nightmare...

Yes they are, or would be if we judge by the ME3 facecodes. Basically it works like this: you create a face you like, and right at the bottom it gives you multi-digit code. You can then take that code and type it in whenever you make a new game or import, to get the exact same face.

how can this be done? I never saw anything that could be used to insert a code in any of my run at ME. And I have played many times.

Oh, this little ugly world :)

You see - DA: I isn't a free gift for everyone. It is, actually, one of the most expensive games I've ever bought. 'Bought' part means I've paid my actual money to get it. And that means I'm a customer, and EA is a seller of the Bioware product.

When you buy a car the company that produced the car is responsible for the quality of the final product.

IT'S ****** RIGHT I'M NOT BEGGING FOR CHANGES, I WAS LIED TO BY PR! I GOT ****** SHITBAG INSTEAD OF MY MITSUBISHI LANCER FOR THE LAMBORGINI PRICE!

But as a loyal customer I'm not asking to solve customization and appearance problems for free. I can actually pay for it. You see?

I'M READY TO PAY THOSE BA****DS MORE THAN I DID ALREADY TO GET MY LANCER!

Which is unfair from my POV, but it's how the world works.

It wasn't done in ME, it was a fanbase request after ME2 and it was incorporated into ME3 because of the import tool from ME2 or from a previous ME3 game. It's quite possible that you don't remember it, load the game again and check it, you'll see it's there :)
