So how do you check your character stats in MP. I mean its quite simple to do that in SP and i didn't even felt any need to do so for a while, just unlocking stuff and dropping into random easy pugs.

But now when i actually want to min-max stats on some classes the lack of info is getting annoying.

So did i make some oversight or something, but how do you actually check your character attributes and defense/offense in detail?

There is no overview like that in multiplayer, no. Maker knows why.

Yes, lack of proper character sheet is disturbing. I, for once, would love to see a bunch of numbers like chance to crit, crit damage bonus, HP, DR, you know, this kind of stuff.

Seconded. I really hope that kind of information will be made available in the HQ page in the near future, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Hi

You can see some stat on the Inquisition Hq website (hq.dragonage.com)

If you go on the character menu you can see number for defenses and core stat (but don't know if it's percentage or something else)

In the defenses, you can see number for each class in melee, ranged and magic

In Core i think it's Hp, Attack and Armor

Sure it will better if we know what each stat do, there is a big lack of character sheet information

I don't believe there is a stat screen explicitly because scaling is different in MP compared to SP. I think they figured people would be confused or complain, as they are oft to do, so kept everything in the backend and stuck with the old school street fighter style strength bars on character select.

It looks like a percentage, and those bars are visible in game in the inventory. In fact, they are more about your equipment than character stats from what I can tell. They also seem to be more based on comparison with your other equipment (for example, my Legionnaire has 100 in armor and 20 in offense, apparently ignoring that he can't use two-handed weapons even if he wanted to).

Yes thats why i made this post, info that you can find there is just not really accurate or detailed enough. Also the attribute part on that page just shows your base attribute which can get increased by promoting level 20 char back to level 1 so yeah not really that much useful...

This would only make sense if attributes made 0 impact on your character stats in sense that every character have set values but this is not true. In fact MP part works exactly the same as SP part ( - some extra buggy skills) except that instead of 3 different classes you have 12 different presets where skills are often mixed.

Hell there are even some passive skills that directly boost just your attributes and nothing else so yeah...

I can only hope then, that they will add such thing in future and tbh this feels more like oversight which was made simply because of lack of time or proper testing.

I'd argue that would make it even more crucial to have that information available in some way.  Its not like those bars aren't there in the singleplayer for quick reference too.

It is odd im left with the impression that mp was rushed because of time constraints. So we may see it in future updates *fingers crossed.*

Well between stat sheets missing, equipment for SP features MP doesn't use, and malfunctioning skills, it certainly seems rushed doesn't it?

I've got fingers crossed now the holidays are ending the poor fixing team is gonna have their work cut out for them.

I hope BW gives MP a dedicated team, I have a sneaking suspicion a couple people were tossed on to porting MP extremely quickly. If MP shares a fix team with SP, MP will die since SP fixes and development will always take precedence on a blended team.

We can always send them a nice little PM on Monday after the holiday is over with the link :) they probably already are aware of the thread, but we can always cover our bases. Can you put a link to the thread? Hard to look it up on this stupid iPhone while pretending to be working
