After contacting the HoF and receiving Leliana report about it, she didn't mention the included note the hero left for Morrigan and Kieran, and also in the letter the Inquisitor receives, the hero does not mention Morrigan and Kieran, he only talks about how he doesn't know much about being a warden because he didn't receive proper training/info or something.

My HoF romanced Morrigan and Kieran was the OGB.

Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?

As I understand it, it's a bug. And it doesn't do anything to compromise your romance from DA:O. It's essentially just a missing codex. Morrigan still acknowledges she received the note 'included for her', if you speak to her after the mission.

It's possible this is a bug... But I doubt it.

Why would the HoF talk to the inquisitor about Morrigan and Kieran. It doesn't really make any sense at all.

Hey Inquisitor,

Thanks for thinking of me. I'm sorry I can't help you save the world right now. I'm busy trying to find a cure for death by taint. By the way, I fathered a baby with your arcane advisor. It possesses the soul of an old god. Do be careful with them.

Love,

HoF

Did you check the journal? The letter at the War Table is pretty benign, but if you go to the Journal, it usually has the additional information. Further, if you talk to Morrigan in the Garden, she hints at the spicy contents of her personal letter from the HOF.

Yeah it's just the codex that is wrong. In the letter he sends to the inquisitor he doesn't mention his family at all.

He does mention them to the inquisitor in the letter he sends. Mine is bugged.

He does not mention Morrigan in my codex entry either and I think it's the way it should be. As Morrigan herself tells you it's no business of yours. It is mentioned that not even Lelliana opens the letter and she IS your spymaster why would the Warden tell the Inquisitor spicy details about Morrigan? Would it be cool if we had that codex entry? sure but it's like whatever it makes more sense this way.

I think it's perfect this way the codex you get is a formal letter from one leader to an other if you think about it these people don't even know each other they are complete strangers. Would you talk to a stranger about your family and love life ? Well I guess you could but you would have to be incredibly drunk.

Skip to 7.40 minutes. That is what you are supposed to be getting. I didn't get the codex either. Seems like another one of those DA Keep import bugs.

Did you go through the eluvian with Morrigan? The letter only mentions her if the Warden went through the eluvian which mine didn't.

Yes he did. She did say to the Inquisitor that the warden spent some time raising Kieran with her and went on a quest bla bla bla

Just the letter codex the warden send that is wrong

I think you are not supposed to get that letter as codex entry regardless as I have heard of no one that actually has. If there was a letter about Morrigan that would make Orlesians blush I would bet money that the BSN would be full of topics about it. Why do you think you are supposed to get that Codex entry?

*sigh*

I'm not talking about the Inquisitor reading the note the warden left for Morrigan.

The letter SENT TO THE INQUISITOR is the one that is wrong in my game because if you went through the Eluvian with Morrigan (in Witch Hunt dlc) the warden mentions his family to the Inquisitor. The video is posted here.

Good catch. My canon Grey Warden (used during first playthrough) romanced Morrigan, fathered Kieran, married Anora, and went through the eluvian with Morrigan. In our initial conversation, Leliana gave an appropriate non-romanced response. In the initial conversation I had with Morrigan, she gave the appropriate romanced response (indicating that both she and Kieran missed the HOF). Morrigan was the one to offer to send a message to the GW, she bemoaned the fact that she was sure that he would be quite pleased that she missed him...insufferable or something like that. The response I received didn't mention his family (Morrigan and Kieran) at all (as it should have, per the video you posted). Too bad, I would have liked to receive have gotten it.

It makes me wonder if the thing that caused the hiccup for me was the fact that my GW married Anora before going with Morrigan through the eluvian...did not adversely effect anything else though. I might have to do another playthrough just to check on it. I love Dragon Age Keep, so easy to tweak. :)

I had the same problem too! I suspect it's because I first got the mission from Leliana, instead of talking to Morrigan and her telling me how to contact him right away.

I also oddly had an ending card that showed Morrigan alone instead of with Kieran. Did anyone have the same problem?

You can get the "Contact the Hero of Ferelden" mission from two places; Leliana after Adamant, or a romanced Morrigan after Adamant. My theory is that if you unlock the mission by talking to Morrigan, the Hero of Ferelden will mention her and Kieran in his letter.

I'm glad the bug exists. Having morrigan tell you she got the letter is enough.

I've also access to the same mission while my warden is dead and it wouldn't be Alistair because he is king in my game.

My best guess, it's bugged.

I don't think so. I got the quest from Morrigan

The whole thing with hero of ferelden and Morrigan seems bugged to the max. In one of my world states HoF stabbed Morrigan through the Eluvian and nobody had a baby with Morrigan, yet she speaks of HoF as her lover and father of his son...

I have a feeling that this may be a bug depending on who gives you the mission.

If you got to Adamant first, Leliana will tell you about contacting the HoF (which in my playthrough resulted in the issue in this thread). However, since Morrigan also has the option to give the quest I think it needs some testing to see if we get the "correct" letter if we have Morrigan give the quest.

I can attest that with Morrigan it also happens to bug the letter the hero sends. I got the quest from Morrigan after she talks about how "her love" is trying to the end Calling bla bla bla. His letter doesn't mention his family at all.
