I was wondering when you would post here joe. So joe what do you think of the thread while we are here. O and i am sure i have alot to do with the views but thanks for helping lol.

 

There's some structure in the original post, so that's something I guess. Whether or not the devs actually care about this sort of input is another matter.

 

It could do without the billion updates from you every 5 seconds though.

Arcane monk

Class: warrior cross mage
Personilty: they are the masters of peace and serenity

The Arcane monk pursues a mastery of pure martial arts without the monastic traditions. They are masters of form, and with there mastery of magic they have learnt to augment there fighting style with magic.

Aah i have been asked to do that bro so people can see what is added without going through the list over and over. But yeah joe i got a message from Andy and now Amelia as well saying they like the thread and will see it put to use. So if you do have any ideas for them or questions let me know and i will add it man.

The Air Elementalist

Personality: all there Personalitys are tied together

The air elementalist uses the forces of the wind, sky, clouds, and lightning to confuse and destroy his foes, all while levitating through the air with ease.


The Earth Elementalist

Personality: all there Personalitys are tied together

The earth elementalist draws power from the stone around him, shaping it, shattering it, and bending it to his will. He can use it to defend himself or cause it to rise up and crush his foes.


The Fire Elementalist

Personality: all there Personalitys are tied together

The fire elementalist sees a world around him that is made to burn, and he can bring that fire to consume his foes. He has also learned that fire can purify and protect, if properly controlled.

Possible New Game modes

Unlimited mayhem
Now before reading this one i have to say this is a brillant idea and it goes off the horde mode idea well. There is nothing more addictive than modes like these because we love testing our mettle.

Perhaps a Gears of War style survival mode. The game would go to 50 waves, there'd be no objectives, enemies would get progressively harder, and gold and exp would be awarded every 5 waves. The higher the difficulty, the more gold and exp.

Instead of one enemy to go after why not three-five buffed up enemies but unlike the special mobs used for normal assassinate these are normally soldier and archer types.

Possible Changes

Basic tags added next to your name for in game use. Meaning if your on the arcane warrior then next to your name in game you have a AW next to your name. Just so you always know what classes are in your group as it will help with doors and class cross combos.

I would also like to add here lol i would love to see something tied to mass effect 4. Would so get the juices following lol.

Possible New Game modes

Damp Version Of Raids

Chests drop only items and there level is based on difficulty
Routine - item level 1-8
Threating - item level 8-18
Perilous- item level 10-23
Nightmare- item level 18-23

Vases drop significantly more gold

Finishing the game gives you a item with a higher chance of rare or higher

Enemies are doubled in number and mainly of higher tier units

They have alot of (reduce damage) from certain elements that randoms with each game

Health pots and healing urns only give 50 percent of normal amounts

Enemies do alot more damage and are smarter when using spells to try and trip your group up.

Exp is lowered by 75 percent as raiding is not meant for leveling rather items

This mode would need to brought in at a later time if it is used. As the amount of items in the game need to brought up abit first. The idea is a harder version of each difficulty that rewards you well for it. This could be used instead of the herioc mode idea of each difficulty. This would allow players to focus more on items over exp or vice verse depending on what they want more at that time.

Two archeologists were surveying the area when there group was attacked. Come to there aid and help them finish there mission.

Lead group a to point b then defend against three small waves.

I thought something like that, but with much more difficult puzzles. In Castlevania Lord of Shadow there was some of them.

 

But sadly I think the most of the players don't like puzzles (actually there was NO puzzle in Castlevania Lord of Shadow 2 XD).

Im not sure why i think puzzle type objectives are great. If you have any ideas for it even from Clos list them and lets see if we cant find a way to make them work in Damp lol.

Not a friend of puzzles in this kind of game - they kill the pace.

Better would be some optional objective - like open vault doors / bust magic / smash walls barriers to reach a fat treasure. Something like in SP at the Haven Trebuchet - some teammates can try doing a time sensitive task while waves come at the team - more people doing the task would have it complete early but it's harder to defend against the mob coming. Once the task is done a passage opens and you need to fight two demon commanders to unlock a Mass Effect 4 MP character.

Possible changes

Alot have suggested this for me3mp and someone has brought it to our attention. Personally sounds like a really interesting idea.

Here goes:
instead of the normal Multiplayer screen. Why not have a physical area to walk around in for the lobby it could contain.
One corner:
The chest area were a inquisition soldier stands on foot to serve you.
One corner:
tavern with a bard playing music.
One corner:
armory where you can see your gear and change talents,potions and modify gear.
One corner:
is were people start when joining your lobby.
Once your ready you simply walk out the door that commences the countdown. If your joining a game in progress then you simple use the party menu to see what classes there on like you do in normal games when playing.
The idea is to make the lobby less boring while waiting for people. This large room could be part of the keep and show up that way in sp.

Lol i see what you mean but i cant remove a suggestion. We have to post every idea lol no biases here. But yeah maybe puzzle objectives are not the best idea personally i just cant wait for dlc and mass effect 4 lol.

Possible changes

A menu that shows what your friends are playing at the touch of a button, and join any lobbys with a free slot, if their lobby is set with one more press of a button.
I.e front multiplayer screen
There is a tab that says Friends
Click on it
It shows a list like this
Name map enemy difficulty spots
1.Barti34 eleven ruins demons rountine 2


The spots remaining is 2 so clicking on this person would have a pop up saying would you like to join the game now.

Different coloured floating text in battles indication crits, stealth, bleeding, poison, flanking and magic damage.

Add in books scattered about and picking them up gives your group bonus exp. Alot of things already give bonus gold and items so why not exp.

In mass effect there was armor that referenced dragon age. So why not have armor in damp that reflects mass effect even a simple N7 logo.

Possible changes

Bring back auto attacking so instead of holding in a the mouse or a trigger. Why not let us have it auto attack as it worked well in dragon age origins.

Add a chest that gives a certain amount of random materials much larger amounts than if you savalaged normal loot chests.

Add the option to level up a weapon, nothing is worse then finally getting a rare or unique weapon and having it being out beatin by a common just because of it's item level.


Add a sub menu in the Prestige tab to view what Banners, Portrait, and Title's you've unlocked. The current method is both confusing and hard to players.

Add a pop up message in game stating that the other players want to kick out another. It's impossible to know unless you press the touch pad.

For that matter also add in a message should someone's ping hit into the higher numbers. Would help so we can stop pulling and let it settle down for them. Of course options like these need a on or off option.

When can we expect Dragon Age Hq app?

Possible changes


This part is all about Dragon Age Hq app for multiplayer. We want to make sure things like this are been considered or used for the app. :)

The list:

The ability to change your gear on all your characters

The ability to map potions

The ability to buy platinum and chests

The ability to see the talent trees in full detail and use unspent points

A talent calculator

3d look at your character much like on the Destiny app

The ability to craft armor and modify weapons and armor

See your challenges and set challenges to watch

Set notifications on things like new patches, dlc and events including what they entail.

Link the Bioware forums to the app for easy access

Dragon Age lore in full including full details and images on your enemies including there weaknesses etc....

Possible Changes

Bring in aoe staffs as we have aoe daggers and blades. Even bow of the griffon does three shots in one and i think aoe staffs could work. Maybe instead of one shot could have one shoot two mobs at once at a certain range.

Reported Bugs

This bug is an odd one and we have pictures to provide if needed. We dont use third party sites so we can send them via email. What happens is a person telports to the door dead but with full health and they cannot move. Trust me it is funny as hell to watch but also if you pull them to the next door they still stay dead with full health.

Sometimes at the end the medals do not show up found this one very interesting. Because it does not even show the medal for finishing the game lol.

Much like the ones in da2 you could have a maze of sorts built like the ones in da2. Narrow passages
, wooden sides with dirty water trickling down the sides , barley lit areas and small run off on the sides of dirty water .

Questions for Bioware

Why do some of the animals work with the enemy for example: the wolves working side by side with the demons?.

Is there a way that we can avoid playing the destruction dlc but still play with people with the dlc?. Like if you dont want to play the destruction dlc but still most use the expasion is there a way so you can set it to normal mode?.

Possible changes

This refers to the weekend events as they are there is two ways to do them.

Run ahead of your group to make sure you get the kills and they dont
Or
Put it on private (routine) and solo it by your self

Now i dont think this is what you had in mind by having people play alone or kill steal from groups.

So why not do it differently and change it to group goals. So instead of only your kills counting, the whole groups kills do and raise them from 100 to say 300. It would promote team work and help to fix the weekend events.
