running speednormal walking speed please.
I agree but id prefer a bump in speed and remove the push to run to always run. I tell ya the thumbs are sore after a few hours of it lol.

I frequently hit the shift key in single player, too. I also struggled with it when I tried to make my MEMP characters run for a couple of seconds. Muscle Memory is strong and can help immensely - in DAMP not so much.

That may be the first time I've ever seen someone mention muscle memory in relation to a video game lol

Really? The WASD-pattern should be quite prevalent in the gaming population. Try rebinding those keys and tell me how you do.

I just meant because when I think of muscle memory I think of playing sports or going to a gym, not sitting in a chair looking at a screen ![]()

It's quite the thing when you learn a musical instrument, too.

Does not matter. Imagine something like being forced to use left trigger instead of the right button. Or even B instead of A. Your fingers would have objections, along with your brain.
E.g. I'm playing with the pad on PC, and my first DAIMP runs used to be a real pain for the left thumb (I mean literally). Because I've spent 150+ hours adjusting my run\walk speed with a stick angle in DAISP. I was constantly trying to push it 'just a little bit further' and make my character actually run. It also took some time to realize that MP 'sprint' is a f*ing toggle, and holding the stick button down was unnecessary.

I agree with this 100% Not because of thumb fatigue, but it is literally breaking my controllers to the point that my characters are stagger walking because I can't press the L3 button. I'm pushing the button softer now...but c'mon, who needs to walk? Make it pressure sensitive, halfway is walk, pressing the L3 stick fully in one direction is running.

Give us random enemy (and enemy type) placement and a Horde mode. Allow enemies to capture or stasis other players where friends have to come rescue (like L4D) or they'll die. Add more missions between zones. Change the scoring system to encourage more team work, and add a medal for revives or defends. Throw in a dragon that players can kill for a lot of gold bonus.
Nerf the AW class so theres at least some consequence to running solo and abandoning the team. Review all the stat bonuses to make sure they're calculating properly, some items seem to be inconsistent. More maps and maybe just one more difficulty that scales to the players stats (like those with very high constitution and willpower).

This was mentioned in a thread from early January but, when playing Keeper, Barrier often won't take hold if Fade Cloak is active. Is this a bug or a... feature? Though it's relatively easy to work with when you have the option to focus on timing Fade Cloak and Barrier, it can become an incredibly irritating issue in more desperate situations. Before I realized what was going on it had me convinced that my aim with Barrier was absolutely atrocious ![]()

Seriously! I find myself having to consciously ease up on the pressure I'm applying to the run stick too, because I am mashing the hell out of it all the time as if that's going to work better than lightly pressing it.

On my first game in DAMP, I kept trying to put a barrier in between myself and the enemies because I don't read things before jumping into games.
