Running around talking to some of my companions, I haven't gone very far in the story with some of them while others, specifically Blackwall, I have come quite far with.

Now, I just broke off my relationship with Blackwall, and I wanted to try out Iron Bulls romance part of the game. The thing is I can't seem to progress with this. He just doesn't have anything to talk to me about, all I can say to him when I approach him is "Good bye". Does this have to do with the fact that I haven't progressed to a specific point with the rest of my companions or is my game just broken?
Or do I have to complete the main story to a specific point in order to get new cut scenes and such?

I have come quite far in the main story of the game I believe and I have gotten, and completed, Iron Bulls personal quest, yet he still doesn't have anything new to tell me.

Anyone else experiencing this or have any information regarding this that could help me?

Thanks in advance.

Update; Killing Venatori or High Dragons does not give me any approval rating for bull. Neither does completing the horse race quests. My game seems bugged.. ?

Iron bull has very limited flirt options. Have you done his Demands of the Qun quest yet?

After that quest he has a single flirt option- the flirt option that triggers the romance. If you've progressed past that you are locked out of the romance unless you have an earlier save.

As for his conversations- I've heard this is a bug.. I myself have had very limited conversation options with IB.

As for continuing approval from killing Venatori and Dragons- I've also noticed on some companions, it seems things that would normally trigger "slightly approves" stop appearing after awhile. I don't know if it is a bug, or if you can just exhaust the amount of approval for certain actions, or if you reach max approval it just stops accruing. Maybe someone else can provide some clarification?

A lot of his initial romance options I hit back in Haven, asking about the Qun and his past life, definitely do demands of the Quna nd there are actually two flirt options in a post mission cut scene that should get you two going. And even then don't worry if you don't see his romance card pop up after you've done all of his special scenes. I found out that it will only trigger after a specific plot quest. I thought there was something I did wrong at first but I had been gunning for him since the start of the game. His romance is pretty easy to stay on and all, even if it's a little specific to trigger.
