Hello everyone
Just as the topic says, I wanted to point out some minor gameplay suggestions to consider:
1. Deeper Zoom-in of the Player Character - Only a little bit deeper camera zoom-in for the players more oriented into action type of gameplay (I find myself always scrolling the mouse wheel while trying zoom in the camera really just a little bit, and it feels anoying that It doesn't work
)
2. Energy Barrage animation/Magic projectiles - I remember, that I was so pumped up when I first saw the Energy Barrage Spell in the "Inquisitor" Trailer. The torrent of magic projectiles looked so chaotic, violent and dangerous (adding to it the Inquisitor's roar when he fired the spell, which is not present in the game sadly :-( ) that it instantly convinced me to play the game as a Mage. Sadly in the actual gameplay, the projectiles are very thin and are not fired straight before the PC but to the sides, and then auto-find the target. It doesn't look violent and chaotic at all, I was reeeeally disappointed when I saw it in actualt game. I know there were many changes made from the Alpha build but this one doesn't seem right at all. In my opinion there should be fewer, but bigger and more powerfull projectiles in the spell animation and they should be fired chaotically straight before the PC.. not to the sides, just like it was in the mentioned trailed.
3. Casting time of some more powerfull spells - I think that the most powerfull spells like i.e. "Firestorm" or the "Mark of the Rift", which have their own animations, should have a cast time duration for as long as the spell animation lasts and be able to cast it only when its finished (i.e. when the inquisitor holds up his/her hands while aiming with it), pretty much exactly as it was presented in some of the early gameplay trailers (for example the first one in which Vivienne uses the "Firestorm" spell).
Also Great Thanks for the Bioware Team for making the most awesome game that ever was ![]()
(and for Trevor Morris for the OST (especially for Alexius and Val Royeaux soundtracks :-))
