I was wondering does anyone know how avernus was able to live so long as a warden without having to go on his calling?

He is a blood mage and has made a deal with a demon ..not to mention if you read his research notes it indicates that he has been researching a way to eliminate/delay the Calling, and to reduce the effects of the Taint (e.g. allowing Wardens to have untainted children) for over 100 years- it is therefore possible he has had positive results with that research since he has pretty much been his only test subject for at least 50 years.
