So I, personally, am a Dragon Age fanatic. And in part because of my constantly talking about the game, my boyfriend has picked up a copy for himself.
Now, his copy is for PS3. I played mine on PC and never had any significant problems.
The problem comes when he tries to drink health potions. At first I thought his issue was mostly that he didn't grok the turn-based aspect of the game. But I tried to play a fight for him (in the Fade), and it turns out he has an issue where he'll command his dude to drink a health potion, but the command won't register. It'll just skip drinking the potion and continue to fight. The number of potions in his inventory doesn't go down, but his health doesn't go up. He's in Burning Man form if that is significant. But also, according to him, he enters the Quick Heal command and it just doesn't happen.
Now, I'm primarily a PC gamer, so if there's some trick to taking potions when playing on PS3, I don't know it. But it seems to me like potions might be bugged in this instance. I've done a quick Google search, but there's just so much information out there! I haven't been able to track down any specific articles about anything like this bug.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
