so whose VA is your favorite in DAI aside from how his/her character is?
I gotta say Sera's VA is so good that I mostly always bring her in my party, and her character is not so bad

and Cremisius Aclassi aka Krem's is pretty good too, though he (or she?) talk so fast that something I didn't catch what he's saying, but still, great.

However Divine Justinia V's VA (and her spirit or whatever) is just horrible, I always feel awkward when she's talking.

oooh and don't forget specialist Traynor's VA from ME when she said "What's going on here?" when you first encounter a pride demon. I think it's out of place, like nothing happened, but mostly she's doing a great job  :)

For the npcs and companions: Seras, Cassandras, Varrics and Cullens great job and emotions.
For my quizzys I'm going to say that my favorites are both british and the male american, the female american wasn't as good as the others but still good though.(Maybe I couldn't make a look that fitted the voice.)

Dorian has the best imo, also loved Solas' faint Welsh accent and Vivienne's VA (Niobe from HBO's Rome). Didn't much care for Cassandras and Cole sounds whiny all the time but i guess that's just his thing.

My favorites are Alix Wilton Regan (English Female Inquisitor), Brian Bloom (Varric) and Ramon Tikaram (Dorian). Aside from the acting, I think they have great voices too, so that probably affects my opinion.

But I like the acting of pretty much everyone. The only thing that bugs me is that Mother Giselle's accent is inconsistent.

I liked everyone, except maybe for the female American VA. Even Cory and the Demon of Terror were great.

I can't really state a favourite because they were all well done.

I think cole is a very well voiced character considering he isn't suppose to be voiced as a typical person in regards to emotions.

Dorian, Solas, Cullen and Varric all have voices I can just listen to for hours.

Voices I didn't like: Sera (but granted that could just be tied into not liking her character period, hard to say), Cassandra, American female PC voice

Blackwall's I'm a bit iffy on, not terrible but meh.

Viv's, again iffy. Maybe if she didn't sound so condescending all the time. Might help

Voice of Corypheus is somewhat thrilling for me since the Legacy DLC to DA II (especially when you are watching 'The enemy of Thedas' trailer now with the scenes of Haven destroyed and those words: where's your Maker now?). Absolutely epic voice for a main antagonist in my opinion. For me it seems to match completly with a vision of a ancient Tevinter magister awakened to his seeking of light (as he mentioned in Legacy)

VA's i liked (in no particular order):

brian bloom (varric)

ramon tikaram (dorian)

james norton (cole)

jennifer hale (krem)

gareth david-lloyd (solas)

miranda raison (cassandra)

alix wilton regan (uk f!inquisitor)

freddie prinze jr (iron bull)

VA's i didn't like:

robyn addison (sera)

in general, besides the quality of the voice acting, i prefer deeper/huskier voices.

That would be Jennifer Hale, one of the biggest names in voice acting, best known to BioWare fans as female Commander Shepard from Mass Effect :)

And she's doing a surprisingly good British accent for someone born in Newfoundland and transported to the US.

The voice acting is overall awesome.  The twelve people of the inner circle are particularly awesome.  It's a shock to see how little formal acting experience some of those people have had, going by their IMDB pages.

Even minor characters are much better voice-acted in DAI.  Origins had an awesome inner circle too, but some of its minor characters were atrocious.

Some of the francophone actors in Inquisition did have more trouble delivering their lines in English.  It didn't strike me as at all surprising that Celene's voice actress is actually a talent agent with only three small acting credits to her name.

For the most part even minor roles, though, were superb.  I didn't find myself laughing at them at the delivery at all.  Some of the roles in Origins - particularly elves, and this Templar in the Fade sequence - have me in hysterics they were so bad.  But every little shopkeeper and minor functionary was awesome in inquisition, and it was only Celene i found a little jarring.

So hard to pick just a couple because they all did a very good job. This game has the best VA cast of any bioware game in my opinion.

New cast though I really enjoy Harry Hadden-Paton-British male pc (keep trying to make a female pc but that voice keeps bringing me back). Ramon Tikaram and the way he delivers those lines as Dorian are just splendid. Sera is a riot and Robyn Addison was perfect. I know a lot of people don't like Sera but anyone who likes to pull pranks is okay in my book. Forgot to shout out to my Brolas, Gareth David-Lloyd. Just wow.

Returning cast Claudia Black is phenomenal and Steve Valentine is always a favorite. It was so wonderful to hear my two favorite dragon age characters again.

I cracked up when i heard female inquisitor "whats going on here" line:) so calm and indifferent as if you see talking darkspawn and grey wardens sacrificing divine every day

The VA's on the whole were fantastic.  I'm not 100% happy with either of the female VA's, just because neither are exactly what I was wanting for my characters, and both have patchy moments where the character falls flat.  But they definitely are good.

I also think the Iron Bull's voice differs at times (anyone else notice that) - it isn't entirely consistent.

I love Sera and Dorian's VAs - despite having issues with Sera, her VA does a great job with the voice.  They are the new characters that stole the show for me.  And Solas.  Always Solas.

Loved both Dorian and the male inq english VAs. Ramon Tikaram and Harry Hadden-Paton respectively.

Generally speaking all VA is top notch this game imo :)

It's kind of hard to choose, because I think everyone did a pretty fantastic job and are all pretty memorable. Even Blackwall, who is generally considered bland, actually had pretty good voice acting. If I had to choose one to be the best, it'd be a tossup between Cassandra and Dorian, but I kind of lean toward the latter.

I think Cullen is the best written and animated character in the game. His animations bring out emotion that is not seen even on the Inquisitor and his voice actor really hits the spot as well. Aside from that Alix Wilton Regan aka Specialist Traynor does an exceptional job on almost every line but most of all the sarcastic ones though she does have a few flaws (some aggressive lines and what's going on here comes to my mind).

Generally most of the VA did a very good job but the ones that stood out for me were British female Inquisitor, Cullen, Dorian and Varric.

EDIT I forgot to mention who I think is the worst VA. For me that title falls rightfully to mother Giselle I honestly can't stand to hear a word she says maybe its the terrible accent though.

Dorian and Solas. But I'm not sure my evaluation of the characters themselves is not influencing my opinion. If so, sorry, but I can't help it  :P

per usual for me Kate Mulgrew as flemeth stole the show, she be like DeNiro or Nicholson when they pop on screen for 5 minutes, they just steal everything

Other than that the other stand outs have to be who did Solas an Cole

I like most of them. I think most people don't know that the American Voice is actually using the same voice actor for Zevran If you listen to the funnier scenes in the game, it really comes out really funny.

"So you answer the death of your clan...with a goat?" comes out very hilarious for the American voice.

Varric done some amazing job impersonating him too
