Hi, I have started this topic because I am strongly disagree about how bad look most of heavy armors. Warriors don't seem like real warrior, they seem rogues!. I would love if Bioware could release a Heavy armor DLC including armors like Cullen's/Blackwall's armors. Many of us love "Heavy Knight armors" style and would be great if it could be included soon. Thanks!

I support you friend, although I have a feeling that future DLC will include this or other armor-variations because it's one of the #1-requests from the community so far

Bioware originally said they want us to be able to have any quality we wanted without sacrificing the look. Didn't work out that way so i do hope something allow us to change item appearances shows up!

Heck all I want is the stupid horn gone. On my female Elf and even female Human it is so oversize it is just terrible.

I want Ferelden warrior armor for my qunari.. I so love the look of that armor.. I wouldnt care it it was tier 1, I'd find a way to wear it throughout nightmare because it looks sooooooo good.

I mean, so much for if you can see it, you can wear it..

So what bioware originally meant was:

If you can see it, you can wear it.. but only after two dozen micro transaction DLCs to line our grubby little pockets.

Hell yeah, i want the DAO Massive Armor style, like Cailain's Armor, Effrort and Sentinel (from DAO:A)....somethhing that looks like big plates of metal all over you....oh and where is our Blood Dragon armor? it was in DAO and DA2 but not in DAI?

I wonder, why didn't they just ported DAO armors? Adding some new shading and leaving models the same isn't such a bad idea. At least we wouldn't have to deal with current lack of appearances.

I just realized, why don't we have access to the MP Reaver armors? I love the T1 versions, especially the Dragonblood black version

Hi Gaunnes,

I totally agree with you.

I like girly stuff and never wear heavy armour but I can see a need for it as there are limited choices in all armours from light to heavy. The trenchcoat is pretty and well done, with nice fabrics and color options but it should not be the sum total of all amours. Its especially frustrating given its such a  huge game and with so many hours needed to be put in to completion in only two or three styles of armours, it is a bit bland to say the least.

Variety is the spice of life- a great game such as this deserves better.

If would be possible that someone create a mod to use Cullen's armor would be great!. I really love his armor.

Lol thats funny cause I hate his armour, I just want to put him in a nice bit of manly leather or metal. Those wooly bits are so ew......romancing him I felt like I needed the option to take him clothes shopping or have him walk around naked. Hehe. :D

Why someone would hate his armor? xD. He looks like a real-life noble knight (rather than battlemaster armors that look like fantasy/cartoon armors).

For me is by far the best look armor in the game:

I agree, this game needs more heavy armors to choose from, and the possibility to craft existing armors with top stats, for example why Warden Armor can only have up to ~220 armor but Legion of the Dead can go up to ~300??

If I am crafting a specific armor it's becasue I like that style, so why the limitation? why force people to wear armor they don't like just because of better stats? what's the point of crafting your own armor then?

Helmets choice sucks as well, there are only 5 helmets with really good stats (>28), and they all look hideous (except perhaps the Inquisitor helm).

orleasian armor looks decent but is early t2 i think

i really want the armor that most enemy tanks walk around - that dark one with the ferelden helmet, lion tower shield (same the redcliffe soldiers wear in the videos)...couldnt find it so far unfortunatly... i think its the same armor as a dlc from da 2
