Anyone else have this? after battle a blue glow will just show up around my character and won't go away. There are no effects active on my character and i removed all his items yet the blue glow doesn't go away. If I exit and reload the game it will go away but I don't want to have to do that every single time.

Is there a fix for this and what is the blue glow supposed to indicate?

well...you said there are no effects on your character....dont know.



i get the blue mist when i use a permamanent armor spell.

Did you use any sort of 'sustained' skill or posion etc on your weapon? Perhaps a spell caster has an effect on you?



Any one of these things can leave your character or weapon glowing etc....

kinda hard to tell but there's a blue mist around my character. It goes away when I reload the game but I don't want to have to keep doing it. For sure there are no effects on my character. I checked and I removed all his clothing,etc and it still remained. Not that urgent but it's just annoying.

I had the same thing happen to my mage and... I couldn't figure it out either. It was kinda strange. I do use cold spells which are kinda bluish, and I haven't had it happen with my warrior yet. So maybe it's a by-product of tossing cold spells or getting a weapon with a cold enchantment? I know that when it happened it was after battle was over, I looked perfectly normal then I walked through a door.. when it finished loading up the area there was the blue cloud.

i'm having exactly the same problem. it's my first playthrough, and my elven mage was in the brecilian forest when this happened, i assumed it was the werewolf curse or some other scripted event, but it still hasn't gone away now i'm about to fight the archdemon. no effects, no item effects, absolutely nothing effecting the player, but i have a blue mist.

It's just a glitch. It happens on Mages sometimes during spellcasting It's not always blue, but it can happen to Morrigan and Wynne as well. If you save and reload it will go away.



I've had several other glitches that I think may be related, such as my helmet not disappearing during cut-scenes, and the model for my weapon not changing when I change weapons. Trust me, as weird as it may be to be glowing/surrounded by blue mist all the time, it is weirder to have a love scene with the characters fully armored or firing an arrow with a two handed sword.

Known issue since release. Some graphic effects centered on characters sometimes stick around permanently.

Huh, I had the same problem. Save and reload and it goes away?

i think its a graphic problem with arcane bolt<or whatever the spell we all start out with is called> its happens every once in awhile and i have noticed that the farther i get into the game the less it happens, of course my cloud disappears after zoning so it may be diffrent for you.
