Hey!

 

I encountered this several times now. When you play the game on the PS4, parts of the romance scenes are simply not shown (the ones which show nudity) if you haven't confirmed your age with you ID on the PSN yet. I'm currently not able to do this which makes me unable to see all the content of the game.

 

I bought it and can't play it fully, that's just stupid. I'd really like to see this restriction removed from the game as it forces you to use the PSN all the time.

 

Who else has encountered this before he/she confirmed their age?

My game is a 100% Uncut version. Can't be a localization thing.

 

It's the first time I encountered this as well. I tried to contact the Dragon Age Team through twitter, but sadly they chose to ignore me.

I'm really not sure who I should contact with that. I'm not sure if the block is implemented by BioWare or if the PSN screwed around with the game. So far, of course, I get no answer from either side.

Idk. I chose a wrong dialogue response on my first playthrough and haven't gotten far enough on my second.

Is this the disc or digital version?, I have the digital deluxe version and I do get the nude scene with Sera

The way I would set this up is for:

1. PSN to raise the nude/nonude flag based on some metric and

2. EA/Bioware has code in the game that looks at it before displaying the nude scene(s).

Have you looked through your console settings to see if there's anything that looks relevant? If so, did you find anything?

Nudity scenes aren't really that good anyhow.  Just saying, your not missing out on much.

Huh??  I'm on PS4 and haven't gone through any age verification but got the Cullen nudie scene with no problem. I do hear that some of the romances don't have nude scenes... Which one in particular are you doing?

I saw the scene on YouTube, wasn't really impressed by it. It's not really about how "good" the scenes are for me; My problem is that some content is blocked and I don't know how much/which.

 

To answer the other questions: I got the standart, physical copy of the game. I still need to look for some kind of setting but I really can't imagine there is one.

 

Who else also has a physical, standart edition copy on the PS4 where all of the romance scenes worked?

 Since you're on PS4, can you record a video, and show us what you mean? Never heard of what you're talking about.

I finished the save and can't record anything, sadly. It's pretty easy to describe however:

 

I invited Sera up to my cabin. I talked to everybody what gift I should get for her, thus telling everone about the Inquisitor and her. Then the first part of the romance scene starts where my character gets pushed on the bed and Sera jumps on top of her (clothed). The scene fades to black, and instead of showing the second part of it, the game continues and my character just stands in her room.

I've heard you need to specifically talk to Vivienne to get the second half of the scene (it references what gift she suggests to you). Is it possible you didn't recruit/talk to Vivienne first?

I didn't recruit her. So it depends on her wether or not a romance with another character fully works? That's... new. Not sure how much sense that makes in-game wise.

I think you have to agree with her suggestion, too.

She makes a suggestion for the gift. If you agree to it, the second half of the cutscene is discussing it with Sera. So it doesn't make sense for it to appear if you didn't agree with the gift.
