So many people hate Vivienne... She says everything I wish the PC could say. All of the other companions are just so... nice. Vivienne could stand around all day just giving people the resting-bicth-face and she'd be at the top of my list for favorite person in the DA universe second only to Flemmeth. Least favorite person is by far Blackwall. He can take his beard and go into exile with the rest of the wardens.
Companions whose company you prefer not to keep...

Iron Bull. I despise him with passion (like many people hate Vivienne). Maybe that's because I expected something else from him. I thought he'll be the funniest companion, yet his banter never made me laugh. (His banter with Vivienne is an exception, but that's because of Vivienne) And meh. I just don't like him. I don't like his banters about sexuality. It's just... disgusting. And I hate him for his abusive relationship with Dorian (my favorite companion). Well it's good that not all relationships are perfect in this game, but... I'll never recruit him when I won't romance Dorian.
I wish there was an option to punch IB. It certainly won't hurt him, so I'll have to bring Cass along.

I didn't like her remarks to my companions, I didn't like the fact she sleeps near MY throne. I didn't like how she dismissed my elf rouge, but tried to be BFF with my mage..[ seriously, I thought she was way to hard to dictact what my mage should do]
in several instances I forgot about her. and if she called me "Darling" one more freaken time, I would punch her smug face off....
I liked her intro though
Sera was a bit annoying, but I didn't hate her....
the characters I ended up using the most was Blackwall, Cole and Dorian...

There's that much of a difference with an elf and Viv? Interesting. I only know the noble or mage perspective. I don't mind it.. I kind of like how the mage bonds because of his former mentor (but that is a choice as well).

Sera for me. I find her to be extremely bratty. Her banter with Solas were the worse. You don't have to agree with him but the way she goes about it... ugh. Like someone mentioned, I tolerated her like a teenager going through puberty. I find Iron Bull, Vivienne and Dorian to be much funnier companions if I need to laugh, their dialogues are hilarious.

Sera is completely annoying. Never took her on a quest, didn't even speak to her after I got to Skyhold.
I didn't ever speak to Cole, mainly because I couldn't find him on the map and I couldn't be bothered to look because I had 10 other characters that I wanted to talk to every time I was back at Skyhold ... but what little I saw of him makes me think he'd probably annoy me too.
My main party was Cassandra, Blackwall and Vivienne, occasionally subbing in Dorian and Solas. I tried Iron Bull once and he died 3 times in about 5 minutes vs enemies of an equal level so I ignored him after that.

It's funny how my human male warrior accidentally got on her good side (only because he was trying not to pick the dialogue that causes her to hate him) and now Sear loves him. She'd spend all her time on the roof with him, if he'd let her (Cass would greatly disapprove though).

Sera - Probably my least favorite party character of all the DA games. Her voice, her stupidity, and morals are so annoying. I hate that stupid laugh of hers as well. I've only done one playthrough where I attempted to befriend all of the characters, including her, and I regret it. Next time I'm kicking her out.
Blackwall - I had actually planned on romancing him my first playthrough with my human female mage. But he just ended up being so boring that I gave up on him and went for Cullen instead. I'm so glad that I made that decision, because after his personal quest I just hate him now. He's a hypocritical, lying murderer on top of being a boring character. Thank god I can have Cassandra as a tank instead.
Leliana - I loved her in origins, but for some reason, I just am not fond of how she is in Inquisition. I can't place my finger on why exactly.
My party mainly consisted of Cassandra, Dorian, and Cole with Varric and Solas subbing in occasionally. I really liked Dorian and Cole, and Cassandra grew on me. I didn't like Varric as much as I did in DA2, but he's okay. My mage, being anti-circle, didn't get along well with Vivienne, but I didn't dislike her character. I ended up liking Cullen and Josie a lot more than I thought I would.
