I know its not the correct topic, but havent found anything about it.

We still get the forever loading screens, frozen character, no keys to open doors. It seems that BioWare created the MP just to put int he games box "I has 4 player co-op", but a broken one.

Man it's the holiday season for everyone, not just people who play video games. Fixing things takes man hours and that's always a bit in short supply around the holidays.

Yeah. Most of Bioware's staff is on holiday vacation right now. So don't expect much until after Jan 1.

I didnt pay for Deluxe edition and waited til the end of the year for a developer to release and leave the game because "its holiday bitchesss"

For gods sake, its their first big GOTY award, they should act like one.

They already have done two patches, and the game has not been out that long to be honest.

QQ less, it doesn't do anyone any good.

QQ less, really? I'll admit that the holiday break did delay a potential fix but releasing an untested update before said break was only asking for trouble. Let's be honest, DAMP is severely lacking and given Bioware's previous experience with ME3 MP they have no excuses for releasing it in such a state. When a Bioware employee is able to replicate the key not dropping bug in just a few runs it makes the community question how many runs were conducted before the update was released (likely answer is none). As for the other patches, well, they were given to fix a product that had ample bugs at release and probably should still be in beta. QQ less... how about test more.

I mean, I understand that they don't do balance changes every other day. but I'd have exspected a hotfix for the key problem and the buggy armor by now.

On a related now, does EA still have to pay Sony/Microsoft for patches?

When the player base bought enough platinum to buy every ea suit 3 $100 million mansions then we'll get the MP fix.

Considering that patch certification for the consoles typically takes seven to 14 working days, I don't think there is alot of room for us to discuss on swiftness of patch delivery. Not unless you believe EA would allow Bioware to have different game versions out there, because I can't recall a multi platform title where EA allowed this.

I also think that releasing the DLC was better than potentially holding off with it untill after the new years, all things considered.

So as I said, QQ less. You can turn on the waaaaambulance monday next week.

Yes, but not sure about the price now. It was approximately $15000-20000 per patch during the ME3MP days.

Microsoft has changed that policy, but it's chump change compared to the value of man hours needed for a patch in any case. Bioware is not a two man business.

The self entitlement is strong with this one. Christmas is family time regardless of who you work for. Id have less respect for ea if they forced their employees work over the holidays. Yes the game is still in beta and yes we are all frustrated. In the new year, things will hopefully pick up so just be patient.

"the holidays" are just a convenient excuse. some of us see little to no meaning in a christian holiday. it's not like the jewish or muslims get to sit back for a couple of weeks and ignore the world on their holidays, in a christian country like america anyway

This guy thinks a "DLC" about animal cruelty and increasing game-breaking bugs several times over is good.

Map loading failures and invisible enemies are THE BEST. When I think of fun, I think of leaping continuously into an endless abyss is a vast,, empty wasteland.

Yeah, the DLC is lame. Hell, I didn't even know there was DLC until I saw this topic and when I downloaded it...ugh...all they added was random spiders, dragonlings and deepstalkers?

Still, it's the Holiday season. Let them celebrate Christmas/Hani-- (not even gonna try)/whatever Islam Christmas is and New Years with their family. THAT is the most important thing about this time of year: Spending it with loved ones.

We can cry January 2. Till then, I think the entitlement is a little obnoxious right now. I bought the physical copy of Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe Edition for the amazing single player. The mutliplayer is just a nice/throw away bonus that EA forced them to do anyway. I'm confident they'll work it to be as good as MEMP eventually. I am not surprised that there is kinks to iron out in 3D online Golden Axe-- I mean Gauntlet: Dark Legacy online--- I mean Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles--- I mean Dragon Age MP.

Course with what I just named dropped maybe I am the only one that wasn't expecting much. :/

How much effort would it take bioware to make a hotfix that rolls back the DLC?

How much effort would it take to make a hotfix that renames, deletes, or moves the folders so they won't load?

How much effort would it take to sticky the player-created thread about how to uninstall the DLC?

How much effort would it take to put an in-game notification to people that the DLC may be very buggy and that if they want to revert the DLC themselves they can by deleting, moving, or renaming the folders?

How much effort would it take to make a post or a few posts regarding if and when the bugs in the DLC will be addressed?

Sorry, but if they don't even do one of these things, they are just condemning the maximum number of people to bad holidays of missing keys, buggy armor, and reappearance of prior-fixed or reduced bugs, and you can't expect me to patiently remain silent while they screw over their customers this bad.
