Assassin's Creed Unity had serious issues that couldn't get fixed fast enough but any reasonable person would realize it take time to make sure a player isn't seeing floating eyeballs or NPCs gliding down the street.

ACU is a buggy as hell game as well. Why don't you compare DA3 to goat simulator too. ACU can be called goat simulator 2. DA3 can be called goat simulator 3.

OMG they screwed up Dragon Age MP even though single player was spectacular.

Sorry but I have standards. I want to see writing quality that doesn't make me cringe and quests that aren't copies of Everquest 1 quests, and DA3SP does not deliver.

The tacked on Multiplayer that EA told BioWare to implement is ruining your $60 to whatever dollar game even if you enjoyed the main attraction that is the singleplayer

Many people only got DA3MP only because of how good ME3MP was. I did not pre-order any bioware game on launch after it was purchased by EA except for this one because of how well ME3MP was done. You keep going back to the strawman of "SP is the main attraction", but that is completely irrelevant. The issue at hand is whether or not the people at bioware are being lazy.

Yes, the bugs in MP are bad. Yes, they need to be fixed. No, they do not RUIN Dragon Age: Inquisition as a whole. No, they don't ruin BioWare's credibility.

I guess when I go to amazon.com, and search for dragon age 3, and see averaged 2.5-3 star ratings, with over 50% of the negative reviews being negative solely due to the bugs, it doesn't reflect poorly on bioware? As you say. I'm sure EA's incompetent corporate commanders agree.

Whatever, everyone has known EA is crap for years. And I am wondering if people say these are easy fixes because we have a bung of software engineers here or they're just making assumptions like the rest of us; intelligent/logical/fact based or otherwise....

Hello? Anybody home? Did we all forget that the fix to the DLC is rollback or deleting the DLC? Let me ask myself, how hard was it for me to delete the DLC folders? Hmm? Ok. Let's try another question. How hard is it to post a message so that players can read? Let's see, I have a keyboard, if I press keys on it I can put together sentences regarding the DLC. If I put those sentences into the in-game pop-up (which exists btw), I can show players the sentences! Rollback? Well gee... if the DLC folder is there... it runs.. if it's not there or is renamed... it doesn't run.. well.. how do we make it not run OMG HARD PROGRAMMING!

And if you're playing on any platform other than XBox One and these issue are exponentially worse well than...meh...condolences?

Keep your mehs to yourself. There are many thousands of people who log into the game these holidays and get screwed over badly when much of the issues could have been easily eliminated or greatly reduced. For every DA3MP player who knows how to revert the DLC, there are several or even dozens of other DA3MP players who do not know to search for fixes online. Even within this forum, there are people unaware of how to remove the DLC and just keep playing it, and players who come here complaining of the problems and making posts and threads about it or looking for solutions, who then have to be manually referred to a thread giving instructions on removing the DLC. At the very least, the thread on how to fix the DLC should have been stickied on the very first day that it was created, and the instructions on it made readily viewable to players, along with warnings that the DLC may be unstable (is unstable).

Anyway, enough of responding to you, you've made me go way past my migraine quota for at least till February.

ACU was buggy as hell. They since fixed it and and gave compensation in a free game IF you agree not to sue them. Take that as you will, but it was an example of a game being released with MAJOR gameplay flaws and how the bugs in DA: I pale in comparison.

I am going to agree to disagree. I never played Everquest so your point alludes me. I thought the writing for the characters where entertaining and I generally cared what my companions thought and enjoyed their interactions. If you feel SP didn't deliver than either your have some lofty expectations or you're just very cynical. I don't mean that as an insult, just a point of a difference in opinion.

Excuse my ignorance but I was unaware Dragon Age: Inquisition's Multiplayer Mode could be obtained separate from the Single Player mode. If you bought Inquisition for the multiplayer, more power to you. Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode was bug ridden at launch and they fixed most of it. Maybe they should have waited until they got DA: I MP ironed out. Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you.

I guess it's a matter of opinion which resource to a game's quality is more credible: The masses who are comprised of everything jaded elitist, casual games, 13 year olds, and hard core hobbyist or that of "professional" critics who for the most part have praised the game on sites like IGN(9), Gamespot(8), Polygon (9.5), Eurogamer (8), Giant Bomb (8) and the critical praise goes on. As a hardcore hobbyist I think it's a great game and I am assuming the vast majority like me don't typically go online voicing opinions like those individuals that feel opposite about the game.

I get it. You physically want an employee to come on here and tell people "Our DLC is buggy, this is how you delete it from your console/PC."  I agree that they could do it. I'm not gonna call them lazy because they don't sticky a topic but if you would like to be that extreme than that's your prerogative. I don't fully know the intricacies of how any sort of update goes from the developers server to the users game data and I don't pretend to. You are making it seem a lot more simple than it may actually be to "put those sentences into the in-game Pop-up" when there are walls like Microsoft and Sony approval that any developer data access Xbox Live and PS Network. On the PC, it could be that simple as updating servers with EA's green light. I don't know, and unless you work in said industry you don't know either.

As some one who is enjoying this game I only hope YOU and everyone else enjoys it as much as I. I tried being sympathetic to you and your plight because I understand your frustrations but this hostile attitude towards me because I think the game is great and the MP issues are 'minor' isn't going to convince me "you're right, I am wrong."  I'm still trying to be cordial about our disagreement because believe or not I respect the fact you haven't resorted to childish flaming this whole time. My experience with BioWare's attempt at online multiplayer is limited to Mass Effect 3. It was buggy when I first played it. I didn't get smoothed out until 3 months after release; at least that's when I noticed I didn't get kicked out of every other match. Dragon Age: Inquisition came out Nov 18th. It's been ONE MONTH!  And if the DLC has been out since Dec 15th than it has only been out 15 days and 10 of those days no one was at the office to do something about it. The unfortunate truth is the issue isn't going to be fixed the day you want it to be, but when they can do it. And you can say "they can roll back the patch" all you want but that's not going to make them do it any sooner.

Point: It may get fixed in the future and I have confidence it will be but for now, it is what it is. You don't have to respond if you don't want and I am not posting this in an effort to get the last word.

I hope everything gets taken care of and we can all enjoy the game without these bugs. I will say that I had a terrible day with DAMP, with almost 3 hours of play and only 1 successful game the rest were crap outs do too key glitches, crashes and so on. All in all it was a bummer I achieved almost nothing today.

So, yesterday, there I am standing in line at a Tim Hortons coffee shop in Red Deer (Alberta), on my way back to Calgary from visiting family.

I'm wearing my N7 hat. The guy in front of me casually looks at my hat a couple times then says "nice hat". I say "Thanks. Nice when people notice. Are you a Mass Effect fan too?" He fesses up that he is a dev (not sharing his name though) at BioWare. Wow, imagine my surprise. :)

Over the next few minutes we chat about ME and DAI. With regard to DAMP, I mention the bugged MP and ask how things are looking for timing on a fix. As expected he can only say they're working on it, and we should see a patch in January.

Also he mentioned there is lots of MP dlc in the works too. He put a lot of emphasis into saying this as well.

Anyhow, just know they do hear us and feel our pain. They will take care of us even if not as timely as we'd like.

While I was asking I did ask about when they'd start talking me:next. He said they will roll into this over the next few months. Also he said BW is getting ready to shift gears and we'd be hearing about DAI 10% and ME 90%. So excited to hear about me and more (working) dlc.

Hang in there all.

I know its not the correct topic, but havent found anything about it.

We still get the forever loading screens, frozen character, no keys to open doors. It seems that BioWare created the MP just to put int he games box "I has 4 player co-op", but a broken one.

nvida ?

only have the key bug of those things mentioned, but got a friend with a high end nvidia card and he have to wait  long time to load sometimes

I suggest just going and playing another game. Mass effect Multiplayer had some pretty terrible game breaking glitches when it came out.

At some point, all the crap in this one should be fixed (hopefully) and then we can come back and play it.

Should it be like that? Hell no, but at the moment, that is how I will deal with it.

The game has a great concept, but the execution was ****** poor in terms of the stability of the game. Never seen a game that could glitch out or crash as much as this one has in recent memory.

Yeah, but it's just so hard to put down. I have dreams about playing DAMP, yes I'm well aware of how sad that is. :)

So here's a fun one: complete sound drop out. This has happened twice in MP and once in SP to me. Has anyone else experienced this one?

For the sound glitch just change the surround sound settings and it should correct itself.
