We're just gonna keep going in circles, so believe what you want.

But, AGAIN, I didn't say he was a god, but the mark IS Solas' power, and Solas IS a god. According to the lore. That much is not up for debate.

Well it still doesn't mean inq have god-like power besides that he can close and open fade rifts inq is "normal" (well as normal as game protagonists in da are) guy/girl.

Well solas being god don't tell us much after all old gods/archdemons are seen gods as well yet they are killed by peoples.

Don't forget opened a portal to the fade for you to physically walk on. Swallowing people up in the fade's nothing to sneeze at. And the archdemons are only killed in special occasions, i.e. wardens. Flemeth is still kicking... they gods are not immortal, but they're immensely powerful and for the first time, we have a small piece of that power.

And that small piece allows you to do incredible things. I don't care for an argument of semantics of what you consider godlike power. The game however, the lore, the story, it agrees with me.

Still nothing more than impressive power opening portal to the fade does nothing to you unless morrigan was right and black city can give you god-like power but inq don't how to do that and well last time it went poorly and no god-like powers. In the end as far only anchor were is that i provided help with fixing veil.

As far not a game not a lore or story said inq is god or have god-like powers as far everything it pointed that inq can open veil and close it nothing more. And as far gods in da are just powerful beings that can be defeated by normal peoples.

I'll take that as a compliment, lol.

snip

I think you missed "swallow people up into the fade". How is that not impressive...

Still more than hawke can do canonically. Besides fail. He's the human equivalent of Solas.

As i said besides single example s/he used that on single guy that s/he had to defeat in first place it doesn't do rly anything that fireball or bow/weapon in skillful hands can't do.

As i said we don't know who is better warrior/fighter inq or hawke but yes hawke can't open and close veil tear about hawke well failing pretty much at most things yep it is true. But why compare him to Solas who screwd up only as far with orb?

Inquisitor. Hawke loses because he/she has no mark of the rift. Even if they have the same class and abilities, having the ability to "energise" stuff to do things like cover a massive hole in the ground to rebuilding wooden walkways, to opening life sucking rifts (of which you are unaffected) will always make the match less than equal

Honestly, Hawke and the Inquisitor would not fight, even hypothetically. At least, not in the realistic, use weapons and abilities sense.

Hhhmmmm... lot's of Inquisitor love. I was going for more of a " Who do you like more? vibe " my bad should have worded it better. Granted the Inquisitor has the ability to close rifts, they could just as easily bored the demons to death by opening their mouth and showing off that charming personality, and wit. Crimson leaving Hawke in the fade?!?! for shame tsk tsk :P

Oh Hawke would obliterate the Inquisitor.

The inquisitor never felt significantly powerful in any of my playthroughs. He hit hard, but so what? Everyone does eventually. Blood Mage Hawke, however, would just murder a half dozen people by standing next to them and breathing.

So, for my first play through, Hawke was an artillery mage who enjoyed force magic, lightning, and explosions a little too much.  The Inquisitor, Alec Trevelyan, was an assassin, wielding two blades.

I figure, if the Inquisitor can get some nasty hits in first, before Hawke can defend himslef, then the Herald of Andraste would probably take this one.  However, if Hawke survives the early moments of the fight and gets a chance to really get going, then there would be a hundred yard, smoking trench where the Inquisitor used to be.
