Hail Inquisitors!

I have been a gamer my whole life and I was introduced into the world of fitness about 5 years ago and now they are both my two greatest passions. I decided that I wanted to narrow the gap between the gamers who do not know where to begin getting in shape and very fit athletes and this is my answer, what I call the Video Game Fitness Program! A series of fitness routines tailored to specific video games. This way gamers can get into great shape WHILE playing the games that they love. This is a concept that I have been unable to find elseware on the interenet.

I am aware that everyone has varying levels of physical capability so the routines break down into three difficulties; Normal, Heroic and LEGENDARY. Start on Normal and when you work your way up to LEGENDARY you will feel an amazing sense of accomplishment and your body will reflect that accomplishment! Do not let anything get in the way of your physical goals and do not let your physical goals get in the way of your gaming!

Normal Fitness Routine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joS4hGhazvI&index=6&list=PL6t2GApmJYmK5CdlM6E_T45mT-4i5koSq

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions I am all ears!

Also, I apologize if this is posted innappropriately, I am not sure where else to post something like this. If you have any suggestions I would gladly take them.

Edit: Because it sounded better yesterday than it did today. Good thing I'm not a comedian.

Anywho! Thanks for the vids, got a good laugh out of it and some sore muscles. More outta shape than I thought.  :P

Tempted to start playing with a controller just to get away with moving more. :) I actually love moving around while gaming so this appeals to me. :D

If you actually do get started on learning a backflip now a backflip burpee will come in no time! There are plenty of tutorials online(I may be coming out with one soon) and if you have any gymnastics warehouses around you with open gym you would have a perfect place to start! : ) Either way, the normal and heroic routines are there for you in the meantime! Give it a try! I will always try to be available if you have any questions.

Awesome! If you have no particular control preference then give into the temptation Keala! Move move move!

When I inevitably get this game for PC you can bet I will be coming out with a keyboard and mouse routine though!

And this is a game forum, not an advertising forum. If you want to market this idea, go and do it on a forum that is for that type of ****. Your  post count indicates, that is truly what you are here for, and that is to market an idea. Like those annoying tele-marketers who  ring up every few hours.

If you want to use this forum to market something, go and talk to an EA representative, get their permission, and pay them money.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate all feedback. I am sorry that the fitness routines do not appeal to you but I am trying to reach out to those who are actually looking for something like this and can benefit from it, as well. And because of my low post count, this topic had to go through an admin's approval before it could be posted, so I should be good. If you have any constructive feedback on the fitness routines, I would love to hear it. I strongly recommend you try one of the routines. You may like it. If not, I'm sure you will have some great feedback for me.

Even though you're using an Akuma cos play avi, I can't approve of your methods. Like awtew said this is a game forum, not a place to hock your wares. Move along now.

This doesn't exactly work for PC players and I already go to the gym (leaving in like 30 minutes) but I think its a good idea to encourage fitness among gamers, because nerd+fitness= awesome people. You earned yourself another sub :)

Haha! I agree with you %100!

So long as you have a great fitness ethic you do not need these routines. I just thought they were a good way to break some barriers between gamers and health and fitness.

I apologize about the lack of PC support. My friend got DA:I for the One so I chose the play it on the One as well. I have made PC routines for other games so it is not out of the question to come up with some for this.

Keep up the greatness Strange!

It would be doable with my PC, just use a wireless controller and hook it up with an HDMI to the TV

I used to be in decent shape, having played sports all the way through college,  part of my problem is I'm used to having a group to work out with. Sometimes I'll do shoulder/tricep/bicep workouts with 10 lbs dumbells I have while waiting for the game to load.

That is great Ruggly! Honestly my routines are just guidelines and target the entire body. You can really insert whatever exercise you want to personalize the routine to your goals. With 10lb dumbells you even have more options than me! If you play a game for 2 hours and you exercise for every loading screen or death you will get an amazing exercise in!

It is definitely easier to exercise with other people and if you can, you should (use every advantage you can get to reach your goals), but if you get use to working out by yourself you become more self sufficient and independent! It is all about your mindset!

Wait, I'm confused, why wouldn't it work for a PC? Is it because load times are faster?
