I'm a big advocate for training and exercise. People should do it a lot more more. But I'm sorry, if it has taken some video game " themed " routine to get you motivated just no, no. Taking pride in your health and well being should be a no brainer. I love video games too but this is just gross.

A/  I think your nuts.

B/  Being 2,5 time your age I like your body I saw in the vids.

C/  I agree with some other posters advertising should not be on this forum, but getting people to move let alone fitness is a worthy cause so your forgiven.

I have to admit though. This is a really innovative way for fitness programs. Might even try it considering I'm skinnier than an elf :P

There's no scam here. It's three YouTube videos not a set of DVDs to buy or something. It's as much a scam and self-promotion as something posting a "hey guys I made a Dragon Age music video please check it out" thread.

Exactly, if this is a scam, then every person who posts a strategy video or a Twitch link are also scammers.  oh **** i posted champion solo strategy videos I'm a scammer.

Wow really funny Magnus, fantastic job!

Amazing you can actually still hold on to your controls while doing a lot of those exercises; hehe.

Ok so for me I have to do the 'easy' workout.

Im going to do things like shoulder rolls when I close a rift and ankle turns every time I gather. I can use a hand weight and do some arm exercises on loading screens, they are so long I would have time for about 100. ;)

After an hour of that I''ll run downstairs and up again for a wee snack!!  Hehe!

Wait, I'm confused, why wouldn't it work for a PC? Is it because load times are faster?

Not really. I just pause or stay in place in the game until I finish my exercise for short load times. If you are comfortable playing with a controller through your computer then the routines will work just fine. These routines are just not very accommodating for keyboard and mouse players. I know that when I was playing DA:O on PC I could not imagine playing it with a controller. Times change though, haha.

Yes! You have the idea Cell1e! Personalize and evolve these routines. Keep up the enthusiasm and stick with it! If you have the time, try to go for longer and longer and push yourself more and more. And if you have any questions I will always do my best to answer them.

I am so going to get in shape by watching your vids. It's my new years resulution come late.Awesome dude.

I'm going to add a house rule: Before each romance scene do all of these exercises 3 times.

I love the addition, haha! Stay with it Infinite!

Remember that diet plays a huge roll in the change of your body. So if you are taking this seriously you should think about starting a diet as well(if you have not already that is). And I will answer any questions that you may have to the best of my ability when or if you have them.

I had not even thought of that! I am not kidding, you have just inspired me Feranel. You get rid of excuses! A lot of people could learn from your example.

Kudos for trying to do something different though (keyword being "trying").

I guess I'm just old school by wanting to keep video games and exercise as far away from each other as possible.

It's a funny video, but I can't see this actually taking off as a successful program. I can't imagine large numbers of people actually doing this.

Not only does the enjoyment of the game diminish because you can't concentrate and feeling annoyingly light-headed, but, seeing that you are in shape yourself with very low bodyfat, you know that this is not the most time-efficient or effective method to get to that fitness level.

It already takes untold hours of vigorous swimming, biking and boxing just to lose an appreciable amount of body fat. This method shown in the video gives you low-tier results in terms of fat-burning and improving your flexibility.

I am very glad that you posted this Blade.

Why do you think that I have not gotten to my fitness level from practicing what I preach. Everyone has their own fitness journeys and mine happens to have evolved into the VGFP. Yours happens to be of another kind. The only upper hand that I had for my physique was a weight lifting background and I gave that up 2 years ago because I did not see the point anymore. Most people severely underestimate calisthenics because of a lack of experience. People have begun to blindly accept that you have to do 3 to 4 sets of a dumbbell or barbell exercise in order to get the best results and "best results" is very relative. Fitness is an infinitely loose concept. How you exercise and move is how your body will adapt in most cases. I will never assume that I know all of the answers when it comes to health and fitness. Everyone is different and, sadly, genetics play a part in the way each body adapts and grows. The VGFP(as well as a strict diet) works for me and can definitely work for others.

It has been my mistake for not elaborating on my stretching routine but that will be amended soon. At the same time you can replace any of my recommended exercises for ones reflecting your personal goals or you can even replace them with stretches. Make a Video Game Stretching Program if flexibility is your priority.

And as for not being able to concentrate, that is one of the reasons that the difficulties exist. If you cannot concentrate on the game during heroic then try the normal routine until you train your body and mind to become more comfortable in those situations. If you still cannot concentrate then, yes, these routines are not for you and I would recommend another avenue of approach. Such has not been a problem for me for a long time. When I move and play I get even more immersed in the experience.

Give the VGFP a try some time Blade. And try to do it with an open mind. Take it seriously and it will treat you well...Or don't. If what you are currently doing works for you then keep it up and share how you do it.

If they ever do DA:I The Movie I think you're lock in for the Champion specialist trainer role lol! Actually considering the male human body model in the game, while wandering around in the game imagined that due to lack of gain full employment elsewhere, the Champion trainer kept busy by running PT sessions, that the Qunari MP NPC extra on the battlements runs a boot camp, & Adan does a good side business selling supplements & protein powders.

Dude, this is the greatest thing ever. Combining exercise with something that is typically associated with blobbing around like a beached whale.  REALLY awesome! I'm going to give this a shot.
