It appears that notes entered in a players journal are client side?
My desktop PC - I entered a paragraph of text.

Checked on my Surface 3 Tablet - no notes.

Checked again on my desktop - Note was intact.

Does anyone know where these are stored, so I can try to keep them in sync across my systems?

Oh, thats weird - I thought it might have been client side - as the note info wasnt appearing on my tablet pc.
Odd - I just checked my server vault on the server machine, and no text files in my server vault.

I checked the server symbols - didnt see any reference to notes being saved etc in the journal related methods.

Ahhhhh- found it - was in localvault.

Ok no worries

Are you trying to make the journal notes become persistent?

I was hoping it was possible to access the notes server side

EG: With nwnx

It would have been a neat way to do data entry.
Or even storing player journals

I am currently using a dialog based system in combo with onChat event to allow item descriptions tags and names to be wrote - but the actual player journal , if any of that data traveled to the server - it would have made for a more intuitive interface to enter data.

Eg: OnJournal Open - load persistent data
OnJournal Close - Save persistent data

As far as the Surface 3 goes -
I have more money than sense.

Im gonna be paying it off over 3 years, and I only really wanted it to see what nwn was like on it.
While playable - its not entirely feasible without a keyboard (which I do have) - but its not comfy to play on your knee.

Plus - it gets well hot and you can hear a fan in it going like a jet engine.

I use my iPad for leisure, think I will use the Surface for work primarily
As its got MS Onenote - which is good for note taking, plus for doodles.
