Oh, but I can't agree with that one, some people like that.
Which do you like:
I'd rather betray the world than let the world betrays me.
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.

It's a comedy about a village that men can marry two women.
Fight of the century.
Which do you like:
I'd rather betray the world than let the world betrays me.
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.
What do you mean by this? How have the words lost meaning?
They spend some portion of time every game giving it meaning.
But the phrases were not presented in the context of Assassin Creed. They were presented in a thread called "The Philosophy Thread".
I apologize to Leo8Skylar if he took offense, and I might have been mistaken about his point of posting them. I assumed he was looking for reactions, searching for a general meaning to the phrases. And my answer to that was no, there isn't any.
You spend your entire life running around in circles. Knowing little to nothing about everything. Then you are dead.

I'd rather betray the world than let the world betrays me.
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.
The latter.
Not because the world can't really betray me, but yes, that too.
