In my opinion, the inquistor's iconic outfit, (light, medium, heavy) is too feminine in design for my liking. I mean no disrespect to anyone that likes/loves the design, But as a dude, it isn't bad ass to be wearing thigh high boots, a sash cloth belt thing and a music conductor butt flap jacket. The leg upgrade for the light armor is some type of legging that goes over the pants all the way to your crotch. Thank the creators for the Dalish Scout Armor and the ancestors for the Legion of Dead armor.

Thigh high boots? I don't know what you are wearing but my Inquisitor looks a bit different:

Sad thing is, the armor models are there in game. Just look at the NPCs. For example, I really like the blades for hessarian outfits, and I also think the horse masters wife has a nice look. Why can't I craft those. Hell, I don't care if it's armor is 0.

I would definitely like to have the Blades outfit as well as the horsemaster's wife's outfit. I also like the classic magey outfit worn by the elf in Redcliffe giving the flower quest.

Thigh high boots on one of the rogue outfits. Sexy if you ask me.

I really wish they had included a 'dye' mechanic on the armors.  Some of them would be a lot better if we had the ability to change the colouring for all pieces.  Like a lot of the main armors you can't change the colour of the under leggings (pajamas).  Which ruins the effect of the overall armor.

And also, main of the colours of the cloth/leather aren't that nice - especially if you want a high stat armor, and want to use the best materials, then end up with something that doesn't look good.

There are alot of colors among the end tier materials and if you really want a color then use it anyways. There are also fadetouched version of most items that you can use for colouring if you really want to min-max.
I would like some more armour models though because colour is pretty much the only thing I played with with the crafting. Trying to get the best stats and still look good.
My male human quizzy had white and gold as a thing but that was mainly because of the dragonbone and scales colours and that doesn't look terrible.

Actually i agree, that ugly yellow/orange from dragon materials pfff. Especially when it comes to min/max stats my not that great fashion sense gets trampled to the ground.

Also those armor addons look rather silly on female elfs because they are obviously copy/pasted from human ones on skinny elf body, so end results looks rather silly where your legs/arms suddenly get 2x in size and stuff. Like my char doesn't even know to pick right clothes size ...

The actual armour isn't bad, it's just the crafting/schematic system that is stupidly designed.

Be a lot less stingy with the schematics, and allow them to scale up, and make the unique items you find in the field actually useful, and things would be pretty good.

I actually like the goldish color but I wouldn't mind if dragon bone was colored steelsih or more whiteish silver. Its easier to match other colour with steel/silver imo.

There is a schematic for Templar armour, that is what my warrior is wearing. They did a good job with the helmet variety but yes the body armour is lacking.
