You'd think they're crucial on mages with Death Siphon, the Reaver, and generally when you're using Heal on Kill weapons.
My problem is I've got a Superb belt of Healing, but only an Enhanced belt of Health so I'm torn.

Use both to see which synergies better
You can't really see the difference, because a number doesn't pop up next to you when you heal, like it does when you damage things. You can't even see your own health stat because the game is ridiculous that way...we just get a vague description of our stats in the menu...
Well max health is similar to heal bonus in a sense, well depending on rather your healing % max hp or % dmg dealt.
Assuming its %max hp, and depending on character but 100 bonus hp could equate to anywhere from 10-15% heal bonus.
If its based on dmg dealt, then you'd need to compare the benefits of a larger health pool to more health regen.

No... it's DEFINITELY not % max hp or damage dealt. It's got to be based on the actual amount of healing you get from a potion or ability.

Eh? Your making no sense.
Death Siphon heals based off max hp aka %max hp.
I'm not sure how exactly devour works. Does it heal 20% of your dmg or 20% of your missing hp.
For these examples I'm going to assume players have 1k hp since its easy.
Anyways with Death Siphon. It heals 10% of your maximum hp whenever you kill an enemy.
So with 1000hp, Death Siphon would heal 100hp.
With 100hp belt, your max hp would be 1100, meaning death siphon would heal 110hp which would be equal to 10% Heal Bonus
On the other hand with devour
if it heals 20% dmg dealt, then max hp would have no effect on the amount of hp healed. So it would come down to whether you found hp or heal bonus more beneficial.
And if its based on the amount of hp your missing, then increasing your max hp, does nothing.
tl/dr
If your using items/abilities that are based off your maximum hp then increasing max hp also increases the amount of health restored which is essence the same as heal bonus.
what im saying to you is it DEFINITELY doesn't feel like I'm regenerating 20% of my health when I use my superb healing belt. it just simply does not heal 1/5 of my health bar

ohhh lol.. you have miss read.
Its a 20% bonus to healing.
So for example with death Siphon. It would normally heal 10% of your hp. You now get a 20% bonus on that. So now Death Siphon Heals 12% of your hp.
Weapons with 1% health per atk would heal 1.2% health per an atk
Weapons with 5% health per a kill would heal 6% health per a kill
and so forth.
edit: If a potion would normally heal 400hp, you get 480hp instead.
no yeah i knew that the whole time lol sorry
i'd just love to get an idea of how much health each class actually has instead of the vague lable-less bar graphs they have on the character selection screen
then i could completely solve my problem in this thread. I mean you would think +100 health is better because every constitution promotion is only 5 health.
I love using healing on kill/ heal bonus acc's and stuff
i have 2 rings 1 ring gives 10% heal on kill the second gives 5% heal on kill then i have a belt with 15% heal bonus with all that on my templar i have on armor heal bonus by 18% and i have Shield of the Emperor that has a 7% heal bonus and heal 15% damage taken over 10sec, 1 kill heals about 30-35% of my hp.
That settles it then. But apparently Warriors are hard pressed for health, and it is rumored to be directly related to your maximum Guard. So you might actually be better off with a Superb Belt of Health, and just use the Heal Bonus armor legs instead.
Wait till you get the sword that heals 17℅ health on kill and you can add the armor upgrades it's awesome. One kill gives me almost half health. LolI love using healing on kill/ heal bonus acc's and stuff

If they only increase health potions I'd say they are worthless. If they increase all sources of healing, such as % heal on kill rings or Dragon Rage, Death Siphon etc, they could be very powerful. Unfortunately I have no idea how they work.

Nice but with the RNG i can see i will never get it but i can always hope lol
